Yeah and all of them moved out the first chance they got.

I'm pretty sure you have to have a drunk and disorderly arrest or be a convicted felon to be able to live there...

I will say this is why a lot of people gave up on the Anaheim rounds and just did San Diego. Then that went away. They don't attend anymore.

A big part of justifying the cost of tickets for large groups was the ability to make it a true yearly get together with other friends and families. Kind of a one day vacation wrapped around a common sports interest.
Got the call from my buddy that does the organizing wondering if we should just have a bbq with everyone instead due to cost. This is in NJ. I fear it wont be around much longer here.

Go to Oakland. The tail gates go off there.

That's a start, now cut a2,Oakland and SD . Move them to stadiums elsewhere with a roof, seems to be plenty of them.

Suggestions? I can't think of many options that haven't been tried and either failed or were too difficult for varying reasons.
I dont know where the roofed stadiums are really,I turn on football from time to time and most seem to be inside which I dont care for, football is a outdoor game.

But the crowds looked thin to me at these first 2 races,if they are going to extend the series where is it going to be held?

Thank the lawyers, no you can sue for anything...even if it is your fault...
I've never camped at Watkins Glen (only gone 3 times when I was kid) but I know a guy that used to work there and a few others that go and it is pretty tame. More people get in trouble for bringing untreated firewood. Ash borer beetle is bad around here.

The one thing I will say that Nascar fans are worse at is, they are total freaking slobs. There used to be a MX track on different property just behind the road course. One year a district race coincided with asscar weekend. When we left the car race was long over and when we drove by the fields used for camping it looked like a garbage dump threw up. The guy that I know that worked there said they would dig holes in the ground to shit in and not bury it, multiple uses mind you. He said NEVER open anything with a lid big enough to shit in either.

F1 wants to become a destination event.
Feld and MX Sports coukd take page from this concept

To stay on topic about Watkins Glen, I guess they are trying real hard to get F1 back. Yes, it has been here before. Very touristy area, too. If MXSports wants to do a road course national again this would be a good place. You could actually build a respectable track.

Always had fun camping for the weekend in the parking field across from Indy Speedway for the MotoGP weekend. Didnt get too rowdy, worst thing was street squids bouncing their bikes off the rev limiter. Sadly attendance seemed to get worse and worse and now its no more...
