Bloody CMT jokers put the sticker upside down on the rear brake guard...

Yep about right! Have you sent yours off Helder?
I just got back two sets, 6 pieces for Kashima, express freight to Japan was AUD120 aprox and the total for 6 pieces was AUD740 aprox so for one set it's about AUD370.... They're awesome to work with! Email Tom, he's the international sales guys at Technix-great to work with! Turn around time is about 25 days total ( including weekend days ), just check for Japans public holidays etc for more accurate times....

No Technix is the Japanese 'agent' for Kashima coating... You're right about not being able to send parts direct.
I used them as the price and turn around time was great.... Payment is easy, you'll get an invoice and payment link for credit card charge, it's straight forward, I've done a few now. Just flick them an email and it's easy as!

HYDROLIK CLUUUTCH!!!Woohoo Silly Cool They are the best thing ever! Single best thing I ever bought for my YZF, my RM nearly got one too but I almost have to have hand guards mounted to stop the wind pushing the lever in as it is, with the warp speeds I get up to on it haha!

Something i learnt on TT.in your case you will shim the yzf forks as the top /upper yzf 250 10+ and yzf450 12+ triple/fork clamp area is 2mm smaller (54mm) than the yz 125/250 06+ (56mm)...but somebody wanting to use yzf triples on the yz for a different steering offset will need to bore/machine out the top yzf clamp Accordingly...offset for the yzf's is 22.5mm and is 25mm for the yz's.you must use both top and bottom (yz or yzf) clamps together as a set for the same offset.also use the original stem for whatever bike you are fitting them too.

Could probably look at making a pair of nice little slide in collared sleeves to take up that clearance, depends how factory you wanna get haha!

Which forks are you going to run in the YZ eventually?

Don't you need to remove the fork feet prior to sending them for coating?

Nope, let them do it...for the small additional charge it's worth getting them to spin them off...

Correct especially on older forks it can be a nightmare for the inexperienced.

I'm curious about those axle lugs... How much? Do they have a steady supply?

An option could be speaking to applied racing. I know they are really good for building custom clamps. I'm positive they could make a top clamp to your specifications if your don't want to use the sleeves. I wouldn't want to use the sleeves personally with the amount of money your sinking into this build....

Hey Stevo they do seem to have good supply, they are expensive...including delivery EUR470.38 so about $663.38 but yeah i like them so oh well ha-ha and the good thing is they will have be the YZ450f 2017 lugs so i can remove them if i want and put them on the YZF if i want....
