Wow! That is gorgeous.
Doing the same with my 03 250. My 1st time tearing a bike down to nothing.
Doubtful I'll take it to the level you have, but I'll share pics when I get it together. My powder coat guy takes his sweet time.

Wow....

That's perfection in my opinion, wish i'd gone for a factory look with mine now, awesome job mate.
Thank you man. Honestly, I don't like the shifter. Looking back I wish I had put a new OEM shifter on it... Little bit "cleaner" IMO.

I think the best thing you did for that bike was the 6 speed. How do I do that?

The 1995-1997 transmission bolts right up inside the 2002-2003 cases. There are tons of articles online about it, shifter cart guys do it a lot.
I did not know this.... Had I know I would have looked for an 02-03 model not the 06 I currently have....

Great build, beautiful bike!
(Except that I truly hate those new edgy front fenders, oh well...)

a build like that would go around 5000-6000€ in belgium In USA i think it should go at least the same 5000$-6000$

Very Very cool re-build
love my 96 CR126 , nothing clean like yours , just keep it 100% mechanically serviced
Would like to do a re-build on an 88 CR250
My son had the 2001 RM250 out yesterday
2 stokes !!

Thanks, guys. I ended up trading this 125 for a mint 2005 RC edition RM 250, with $1,300 on top.

I regret it.

Gorgeous CR125! I can't see a thing I would have done differently. I'm riding a built '06 RM125(now 144), and really enjoying it.

Once you put some sweat equity into that RM 250 you'll love it!

Can't go wrong with a 05 RM 250, but that was a sweet CR
