Cooper's goal should be just surviving his rookie 450 year indoors with no injuries.

5th...... He'll get podiums and a win but still be 5th behind KR, RD, ET. MM, CW............. Is my guess. Top tens will be rough if you get a bad start. Some guys not used to racing outside the top this year, will be doing just that... Don't count out MM25.. TC41 and JA21 will be some where....

You sir are a damn fool ! Did cw win his first sx race ? Did cw win 2of 3 first races ? Did he win every mec race he entered ? No he didn't ! A healthy ac will smoke his ass just like he did in am comp as a much younger rider . Forkner on other hand may be good enough to villapoto the allesies
alessi won outdoor races, want to compare him to RV? Same situation, Webb 3 titles > AC 0 titles. History won't remember those couple of wins.

Webb has dominated and actually won titles on the 250. AC has only unfortunately dominated the being injured category in that time. AC is a nice dude but all the stats are on Webbs side. Webb is going 450 and AC has just completed 1 series is his career and that wasn't anything special.

More on topic. Webb will probably be a force withing 2 years. But the same thing was said about guys like Barcia and Tomac yet neither of those have ever been close to winning a 450 title, although Tomac has been better than Barcia.

Btw wasn't there a stat that if you can't win a 450 title within your first 2 seasons you will never win one? At least no one has done it.

I don't think that stat counts anymore. Js7 went to the big bike in 05 and won his first title in his 3rd season 07. Villopoto went 450 in 09 and also won in his 3rd season 2011.

I think cw will have winning speed but I think he will have problems putting himself in a position to win. He seems to only be able to win when he comes from behind. Has he ever won from a holeshot? Or just from taking the lead before lap 5? Maybe it was possible to win, coming from behind in the 250 class but it won't happen often in the big boy class.
My guess: winning speed without winning.

A healthy AC had nothing for Webb outdoors this year. Webb has earned his way out of the 250s and is now considered a big dog in the big boy 450 class. Also, Webb was team captain of the MXDN team and raced the 450 competitively at the last two MXDNs. Webb has a supercross title and outdoor title.

You can't really compare his resume to someone who won a few supercross races three years ago. AC doesn't need to worry about Webb. That debate is already over. He needs to worry about Forkner because that kid has some serious speed. So far Forkner has a better pro resume then AC. Forkner has moto wins and an overall outdoors as a rookie. I put that ahead of a few supercross wins on one coast.

Webb will have the speed to win a race or two but that is not nearly enough, just ask CP377. Webbs best shot of winning a SX race in 2017 will be right at the beginning, maybe even A1.

Yeah, no reason for having the Webb vs AC debate. It's over, at least for now. Webb is so far ahead AC.

I'm an Anderson fan but, he won't mess with Webb more than a time or two. Bowers knows. Webb is the polar opposite of CS.

I know he hadn't been on the bike long, and its no true point comparison, but Anderson was turning faster times than Webb at MXoN.

I however based my opinion on several things, one of them being that Webb was blisteringly fast in this years SX. I think he'll carry that speed to 2017 and Anderson can't match it. neither can Seely.
I disagree. I think anderson is under rated and will come out swinging this year. It may take a while for him to get up to speed because he has been injured but I don't see Webb beating him more times than he beats Webb......

Healthy and fully fit are two different things. Not saying Adam has anything for Webb right now, but he got better and better all year as he got stronger. Only a matter of time until he's battling for wins.

I think he will be battling for 2nd with a lot of guys while Roczen runs away with both championships.

Chad put the yamaha on the podium multiple times last season, Febrve won a world championship on it two years ago, and the 250 has three straight championships outdoors 2 indoors. The reverse engineering is definitely messing these guys up...

If he has trouble it is because the premier class guys aren't going to allow him to start mid pack and charge to the front like he has been.
I love being right.
