MXM took his ball and went home a year or two ago. Edited all his posts to read "...." and announced he was leaving. I was surprised to see him back peddling his wares, but it's not worth my time to make a big deal out of it.

Boom.

All I know is I ordered and have received 2 jerseys and a pit shirt from MXM and they are the shiznit. Looks great, feels great, the detail in the sublimated printing is off the chart and I can't wait to ride in them. Oh, and his customer service was better than any Moto company that I have ever dealt with, so hate on that too while y'all are at it.

The only "steeling" going on here is the strangest boners that some of you Perry Mason's' are getting over this. Go out and ride, you'll feel better. Tongue
Unless of course, you are ol' scooter, and come up 5 feet short on a 50 foot step up double. The FIRST landing wasn't that bad, but the horrifying rebound, ensuing partial ejection, and entire body weight coming down on the throttle hand thumb in the endo second landing, leaves me feeling decidedly NOT better. Just throwing that out there, not trying to start a Vital argume.......er, discussion.

I just pinged a few brands that were on those jerseys, and they hit me back to tell me that they were infringing upon their trademarks. It's not our fault if the product in question is dancing on the wrong side of the legal writing...

There are 3 guys who have turned those threads into a shitshow of trying to explain copyright law to everbody when they arent even lawyers. NO ONE CARES. If GUYB sees a problem, he will delete the threads, or MXM will be sued into the stone age. Why are you other guys acting like its money from your pockets? I can see leaving one comment, but some of you guys are literally a dozen comments deep over it.
I did, and it's gone.

ML, give MXM a call--dude is really easy to talk to, and you'll learn a surprising amount on trademarks, logos, etc.

It's not ML512's duty to call MXM and be educated....the people that own the logos asked for the ads to be removed. End of story.

Which one? I hope you're talking about the second one because she was kinda hot when she was young.

The original one, not so much.

Or Amy Sedaris from the movie, but it's tough getting past Jerri from Strangers with Candy.

According to the few I spoke to, the logos I brought up have had their trademark renewed and are still in use today on products by the companies I emailed. I don't know much about trademarks, just going off the info I was issued by the contacts we have at these brands.

Please, keep dropping F-Bombs and calling us all idiots though...

And just because you post(ed) here doesn't mean you can come in and spam your stuff for free, and start fights with people who call you out and you disagree with.
10/11/2016 12:28pm
ML & MXM, didn't mean to escalate anything, just the opposite, thought a couple moto guys could talk a bit and exchange knowledge.

we'll that's great. looks like a Fox RJ jersey is gonna cost me 500.00 on ebay now, (if one ever comes up to auction in good shape). would have been 50.00 and no cash out of fox's pocket if this thread never happened. maybe MXM has a point about "idiots" or

maybe you guys are not "vintage" and dont know how hard this stuff is to come by. thats all.

I'm sorry some of us aren't "vintage" enough for you. I'm not saying it is, but if what MXM is selling isn't fully legal and I'm asked by those companies to pull it down, then I'll oblige. Second off, I don't appreciate posters that use our forum to sell their products and then start calling everyone out with profanity when they're called on the legitimacy of the product in question.
