I spoke to Trampas this evening and sent him a pic of the bike you guys are asking about. He said it was full factory Honda suspension on this bike and it handled great. 1996 I think was the year he broke his back in Italy.
Trampas just put on an awesome AHRMA vintage motocross race this past weekend in Oklahoma. Don't believe all the complaining as the AHRMA events are fun and Trampas is totally into promoting them.

Thanks Lonestar! One thing that's odd, is that Trampas won the 500cc world championship in 1995 on a KTM (380) and should run a "Number 1" in 1996. However, all info suggests that he raced with number 2 in 1996.

Joel Smets was champion in '95. Trampas came home 2nd.
No, he did not win the 1995 500cc World Championship.
Smets won, he got second.
Shayne King won the next year on a 360/ 380.
Thanks guys. That explains it... (I should have done my homework better)
Injuries plagued Parker over the next few seasons, but he came back and made a serious bid for the 500cc world championship in 1995 on an underdog KTM 360 against the big 500cc machines. Parker astonished the experts by winning the penultimate round in Dutch sand over sand expert Joel Smets, which was enough to challenge for world honors in the final round, but mechanical DNFs cost him and he finished second. In 1996, Parker broke his back in an Italian Motocross event ending his season
