I'd have to believe Jmart has run up against lots of different track conditions during testing, and will be ready to go this weekend..

Where could he have a better starting point? This race is a best case scenario for him and the team..
Yeah, that and the fact that he happens to live at one of the roughest, best tests of suspension in the US National series, at Millville. If he is running the components, it is almost guaranteed that is what he was most comfy on in some real-world, rough, hilly conditions back home testing.

Being Jeremy Martin is a top athlete and the team is one of the best teams a person could ride for. Why is his suspension even being questioned? Surely he a national champion and Geico a multi championship team can get a bike set up.

I wonder when the last time jeremey raced a modified stock shock? I imagine the breaking bumps at Glen Helen are going to be brutal on non A-kit shock.

What is your logic and reasoning on this assessment? What makes you think modified stock components (which is remarkably similar to "A-Kit") are so inferior? You do know the difference between the two, correct?
I suppose I just assumed he was used to running A-kit, evidently he has been whooping ass on stock components. Nothing against stock components, I've just never been lucky enough to ride an A-kit so I have always just imagined it was leaps and bounds better. Heck the newest/nicest suspension I have ever ridden were WP components from 07.

A-kit has larger diameter shafts and come standard with DLC to reduce surface friction correct? Interested to know any other differences.

OK, now that we established its between 50 and 60hp one question remains. If you were standing on a number lets say #55 and then asked to walk toward a closer number to the Dyno HP of said red dirt cycle in question would you walk toward a Suzuki 250 or a Ktm 450?

Where are you coming up with these numbers?? I'd love to use whatever dyno you're thinking of... Laughing

I would say all the top 250 bikes (Yamaha, Kawasaki, KTM, Honda) are punching out some similar numbers....it is no secret that any of these motors can make some high and reliable HP.

EDIT: The mere fact that a Geico 250F can get holeshots plus win a SX championship with a heavier guy on board (compared to other riders around him) must mean it is not lacking for HP. Any professional tuner worth his salt knows you can get some amazing but reliable HP out of a Honda.

Logic!? Blasphemy!

The unicam setup can put out some serious hp. might take a builder with a little wisdom, but I think there's a couple of those floating around the factory pits

A Team Honda with Roczen and a rejuvenated Jeremy Martin could mean a long year for the other Teams.
