He was paid to race the gps? Here I was thinking he was a supercross specialist hired to perform in supercross. He had no outdoor deal with Yamaha and went to Europe to appease monster.

Now he's going the us gps to represent monster as an ambassador while preparing for the monster cup. I don't get the issue.

If people really bought tickets to see reed run up front they haven't been paying attention. If they bought tickets to watch him cruise around and probably pull off early then yeh be upset but maybe getting an autograph and a chat with him might ease that hurt a little.

Always been a Reed fan, but lately.... What a douche. I guess he knew a month ago he wasn't going to be ready. To make this announcement now is very sad.

I appreciate Reed being honest, in spite of all the crap he probably knew he'd get for backing out. I don't blame Chad or James for not being as gung ho about doing all the work it must take to be in pro race shape at their ages or stage in their careers. Heck, I just wish James could be as honest. You gotta know when to fold 'em...

One of my riding buddies and I bought the Suite Package for MXGP. Reed, Brayton, and Josh Hill stopped by. Neat talking race with them while watching it.
