You forgot Tyler villopoto #61 in 4th was railing on that yz125 until he had a small bit of a low slide on that one berm and went down breifly. Until that happened he was catching up to those guys he was really close.

I posted up a quick clip to give people a sense of being there. It's not all the coverage we'll do on it. I haven't even gone through all the photos from the pro race yesterday. To read a, "Why such poor coverage..." message is a bit of a less than passive FU.

Deegan Vonlossberg with the 40th gate pick on a bone stocker CR125 rips a 3rd place start and holds on the 4th. If his suspension would have been dialed he would have been with Ping and IT. But he basically had to get off and push his bike through the whoops each lap. Kid freaking rips!!! Great ride for the #423.

It was awesome to hear 39 125s ripping the uphill. Bad ass.

they do have it. it's called amateur day. school boy class or at high point they had 125 b/c on amateur day. i think just about every round has amateur day where anyone can ride the track in just about any class.

We rode with him just last weekend. Nice kid and family. He just needs a ride but everythings taken. He has all the tools and the speed. Just needs a shot

Europe has a 125 EMX support class where the 125 riders race on national day. This gives the younger riders a chance to get noticed while still being able to afford racing. It's a great idea and would help the sport. MX is on a decline for sure and the reason is you need $12-$15K 250f's to compete that require rebuilds at 15 to 20 hours. Maybe the manufacturers will take notice and bring back 125s.
Until then we have the KTM/Husky, Yamaha and the TM to choose from.

One big thing I noticed, the noise. When you're up close to a 2-stroke, they're pretty loud, but during the actual race it was so much quieter. We could hear each other talk. I know it has to do with the nature of the respective sound waves, I'm not giving ya'll a science lesson, just saying that it was a real perspective on what an issue noise has become for this sport.

That tidbit aside, it was killer and Carson Brown is a speedster. He was racing a 250f in the winter, pretty cool/interesting that he dropped down to a 125, especially at the age of 17.

So petty. First of all, it's Sunday. Give it some time. Second of all, the moto media's job is to cover the AMA pro nationals. Obviously this is a killer little one-off race that I'd love to see get rave reviews and make its way to every national. But it's still a secondary objective as far as race coverage goes.

sorry but your wrong. a few years back for some stupid reason they allowed 250f s to race in the class and ruined it. so nows its another 250 class. like your kids cant race 250b / mod and open but now they needed schoolboy for 250fs too. from what I heard though Huffman is going to turn it back into a real 125 class again next year

Schoolboy 1 at LL and at any track in my region is 2 strokes only, schoolboy 2 class you can run a 250f
