Super nice! Really like the way the blue & black set each other off. Great graphics too.

Nice R-acer!! Cant say I expected you to have a yammie though!

Is this blue anodized stuff some sort of package, or just a coincidence that you guys just had the same tastes?

The Blue anodized stuff can be bought as a package....I guess we have the same tastes.

I wanted to get the 09 KX450F, but I thought I would give the new fuel injected bikes a year to work out any bug's.... I try to get a new bike every year, so I will probably grab a fuel injected KX450F next year.

I like it man... the power is smooth from the bottom all the way to the top, very linear and I find the suspension really good right out of the box for my weight and the riding I do.
And no, it doesnt bog.

you need to cut the silencer 2 inches and ask PC for the bigger end cap. it will make the bike completly different, trust me!

those ride engineering inserts come out all the time. we went through like 4 sets before we gave up. you need to make sure you use some sort of tighter on them and once you crank on them, they will look mangled.

get the PC kit, it's the best!

and if you plan to stop on the 450, you'll need an oversized rotor. with the stock one, you can pull it all the way in and no stoppy.

Maybe entering a corner at James Stewart speed.... but I dont feel like I need more brakes. I do have wave rotors though.

You don't have brakes until you have a KTM, which I know your son already has.

So...them Yamahammers, do they turn like shit and bog everywhere? I hear they don't and do.

Looks good, scotchbrite the frame, will make it look new again. I'll post some pics of my yamis later. The ride engineering bolt kit is fine tho IMO, I've had em in for a whole season and they never came out or got mangled (thank you anti-seize). WR rear pads are awesome for the rea brake, but I thought the front rotor left a little on the table...

Any idea how much weight the billet hubs and heavy duty spokes add to the wheelsets? I decided to piss away a bunch of money back in '01 on my new YZ250F. Built a set of wheels using the Yamaha GYT-R billet magnesium hubs, stock spokes, Excel rims, Michelin S-12 sand tires, standard light duty tubes, Trick Components Ti front rotor and special compound lightweight brake pads, Afam rear sprocket, Moto Master rear rotor,Ti axles, Ti rotor and sprocket bolts. Knocked off over six pounds from the stock stuff. Oddly enough, the tires knocked off over half the weight and were the cheapeast part. It was a noticeable difference though and pretty cool. Not as blingy as the blue stuff you guys have. Still have the bike, with all the other Carbon fiber, magnesium and titanium shit all over it I might as well keep it. After all what's an 01 YZ250F in primo shape worth these days? Maybe $1500.00?

Where did you get that factory Yamaha exhaust? Those aren't exactly easy to come by! Who do you know?
