A white guy walking down the street with an AR15 is exercising his 2nd Amendment rights protected by the NRA.
A black guy walking down the street with an AR15 is a thug and menace to society and is automatically a suspect.
Yeah, makes sense.
it had more to do with timing.. you really think had they saw a white guy with a rifle in Dallas they would have allowed him to walk on by after gunfire rang out? his photo would have been right out there with the Hughes guy as a person of interest.

Police also need to take personal responsibility. There are plenty of cases where cops are above the law and that incites protests. That guy in Minneoplos was a working man complying with the law afaik. Where is Old Fart these days...lol

No the new country allows people to take no personal responsibility. If you are made to take responsibility, protest riot scream you are being discriminated against, the president has your back, It is racism I tell you. I should be able to go looking for trouble, make poor personal choices, and you just have to live with it ..Because I get to play the race card...

Good old days..yeah right...blame people not even alive anymore?, dumb argument...just more hate fueled rhetoric.

One of your last comments from the now defunct louisiana thread.. "Hopefully they smoke these cops. They are no better than anyone else." Hut, have a nice day, look in the mirror

Those numbers are so fucking stupid. How many were justified? The majority, just like blacks, Hispanics, etc. The media throws those numbers out there and fail to disclose that the majority were justified shootings.

RIP all officers slain. And condolences to all family and friends of the injured and killed. If they really want a war, they can have one. I truly believe there are more good than bad people in this country. People, no matter what their stance is on police brutality, will not stand for this kind of nonsense.

It's amazing that they believe this is the right way to handle the situation. And by "they" I mean the BLM. They generalize all police when something bad happens, so that means we should generalize them too, right?

Just for the record when I wrote smoke I was using the term to remove them from the force. That is a term for getting fired.

Care to comment on your previous statement? This rhetoric is what needs to be shut down with extreme prejudice.

Hut has posted a reply in the forum topic Police shooting in Louisiana:

Hopefully they smoke these cops. They are no better than anyone else.

now smoke means to get fired?...glad you cleared that up ...If I wasn't thinking I would have mistaken that for something else...Guess I need to keep up on the gang mentality slang language.

sorry not buying it. It was inflammatory, hate rhetoric, and you are worried about making america great again?

Sorry , to call you out Hut.
I know that things are emotional, now is not the time to point fingers prayers for all involved,
Hopefully cooler heads will prevail. Hopefully in the future all parties will wait for all facts to come in.

No need for you to be sorry. In retrospect my comments seem callous towards the fine men in blue that do protect and serve. In all honesty the term "get smoked" does mean to get fired in my line and I never been in a gang. I sincerely feel sympathy for those that lost their loved ones in this mess.

Nothing positive can come of this. Evil is just that, evil. We will lose good people that are long time police because it's not worth the risk of getting killed on the job that you go to helping people every day. It's just totally fucked up.
I know we have issues in this country. I also know that the person holding the highest office in the land has supported
the protests with very little condemnation for the violence happening in parallel with the protests. Stevie Wonder saw this one coming.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the slain officers and to the people of Dallas.

This is the kind of leadership that this country so desperately needs. Please take the time to watch this speech. I've yet to hear Obama even come close to uniting this country as Robert Kennedy did that day. We haven't seen a leader in this country since Ronald Reagan.

Best post in this thread .

All you guys who think that the president (any president) can fix this are out of your minds . Every American needs to look themselves in the mirror and decide if they want to be a part of the solution or not . Judging by the posts in this thread , I have no hope that will happen . Sad to say it but it is the truth I feel .

It is depressing that in America, people seem to only be able to pick one side or the other. Attitudes are so simplistic that one side becomes deaf to the other.

Can you support police while also thinking that actions need to be taken to reduce killing of unarmed people? Of course you can. In fact it is the most rational and logical conclusion to reach. But nobody has time for that.

I have no idea where you are from lestat but maybe you should refrain on the all american nonsense. It is not all americans......just some wacko fringe society types having their hate fueled by other fringe society types...You are trying to give some justification to this senseless tragedy.

I am not buying....that bs, every american...

I got piled on (on facebook) for suggesting that the division is not helping. BLM doesn't help any peaceful resolution (imo) and the same with #whitelivesmatter #purpledildosmatter...I wouldn't support any of it.

As a side note: one of the suspects taken out by exploding a charge carried by a UXB robot? Haven't seen that technique used in a civilian setting before. Seemed to work......

A tragedy to the blue team in Dallas, thoughts and prayers.

You can think that if you want but I would like you to know that I in no way support the violence against the officers. It is a sad day in America. I apologize for my poor choice of words earlier.

100% of the guilt and wrong doing is on the shooters and BLM crowd that sympathizes with them. There needs to be swift and clear justice. All this other noise is B.S. This isn't an "us" problem, it's a "them" problem.

Prosecuting as a hate crime.

That's progress.

Ohio is an open carry state.

Cleveland Police officers families have to be nervous as shit for this upcoming RNC. I pray nothing insane happens. I won't be anywhere near Cleveland except to and from work during the RNC.

Were there 3 shooters or 1 ? Still so much uncertainty in one video I saw the shooter "pie" the corner. Makes sense now that he was a reservist and did an 8 month tour in Afghanistan.
