This is what we do in Wisconsin / Minnesota

Cedar Lake Arena

And it's sweet!

From what I understand the building does not have an actual floor where the track is, so they are able to build obstacles down into the ground.
Holy Hell, I dream about shit like that! What an awesome setup that must be! You Americans have no idea how fortunate you are that your nation hasn't yet degenerated into the pathetic nanny state that Australia has become.
If you tried to setup something like that here you would somehow have to overcome a million stupid pointless regulations, deal with three levels of government, kill every greenie within a400km. radius ( they run about 100,000 greenies to the acre here now ) and then be defeated by motorcycling Australia and their various state branches, who would move heaven and Earth to see that you never succeed. Some people might think I'm exaggerating, interesting to see if any other Aussies chime in

Thank you sumdood for your explanation.
Also a thanks to kirkchandler for trying!

It sounds like it could happen, but the amount of money and liability plus the time and hassle of this type of project makes the idea hit the trash dumpster.

We should be able to have an indoor track for electric mx bikes within 10 years?

The Ca guys in here might remember a few years ago it was rumored someone was going to do something in the old airplane hangers near long beach. It was going to have a MX track and go karts and laser tag, paintball etc. Too bad Ca. is so fucking full of conservative pussy retards now. Didn't use to be that way, I don't know where all these dickwads came from but they're sure as fuck here now. Shit we grew up in So Cal and rode in the local hills hassle free all the time, we had Escape Country, Saddleback, Carlsbad and single tracks and makeshift tracks all over almost every hill outside of town. Now we have people who move to the desert and complain about dust, or buy a house on beach and then want the trains stopped. I hate all these "New" Californian's, who invited all these pricks here anyways Haha oh well.... Not much we can do about it now

You could make a small fortune with an indoor track! Just as long as you start with a large fortune!
It would be great for everyone but the person that put the money up...
But it does works for the flat track concept.

Why doesn't Los Angeles have something like this?
It seems in the year 2016 Vital would have enough professional rich guys that could overcome the bullshit about motorcycles in California.
Bullshit=Insurance,location,permits,ventilation,lawsuits.

I would pay 2500/5000 a year for a membership to ride at night indoors, LOCALLY. I understand it won't be cheap, but 250 members paying $2500.00 each generates 600k for start up.....

What would you really pay?

Let's hear why it can and why it can't happen in Los Angeles.

Have to agree
