Belgian Youngster Jago Geerts takes the EMX125 moto 1 win! The live timing / results aren't posted yet so can't post the results yet.
Glad to have some "positive" news about Febvre, the comments in the thread were worrying.
I was talking about a high probability of a KO contest between Febvre and Gajser, I hope he is ok...

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Nagl broke his leg at Teutschenthal last year.
Herlings dislocated his hip last year.
All in qualification races that serve no purpose given that they've already had timed training earlier in the day.
Teams, don't, riders don't.
But im very disappointed in the whole vip thing. I get a taxi to the vip entrance, get handed 4 different types of wrist bands and get told to keep walking, no direction, no map or info, so after trying to enter into two different entrances, the second security guard sends me to the vip entrance. Then there's awkward table service to service a set meal, but you have to get up to get your drinks. Which for 200 quid was very underwhelming, normal priced beer, and a meal.
For some reason i was lead to believe it was a drinks package? No matter, ive had a big week in the UK and have a nasty head cold, so drinking wasn't a bit priority. So i figure being vip id get one of the best views. The vip area itself is terrible, getting up close to only half of the corner before the finish line jump. General admission view the other half. Nobody can get near or around the finish line, what a waste of real estate, they've roped it off for "staff" So what exactly has 200 pound got me? A sour taste in my mouth for sure. General admission views, food and beer was so much better.
And then i go to leave. Granted i should of thought "how" before i left, but seriously an event as big as this and theres no taxi rank or shuttle bus back into town? The girl at the vip office looked at me funny, told my to try and walk down to the gate and see if i can get phone reception to ring a cab, but she cant tell me the taxi number because shes not from here. Are you seeerious. If it wasnt for a friendly irishmen who gave me a ride, id still be walking back.
How do people normally do it? I cant rely on random rides to get back into town...
Looking forward to racing tomorrow but ill be spending it in general admission, with what feels like a million wrist bands.
Brutal hit... Hope he'll be allright. Concussion is what most media are saying so far.
Latest update i could find on Febvre. Hopefully nothing bad with the neck issues, like we saw Dungey have very recently..
This will open up the championship quite a bit now though, in favor of Tim Gajser!
I know they use to have a shuttle bus from the Guildhall once upon a time, seems to have stopped the last few years.
Pit Row
Tony on the podium tomorrow with Tim and Max. Spoilers Bobby & Clement. Points tighten up behind Tim , don't count Tony out.
But Matterley - I reckon it's best to not ensconce yourself in the VIP sections - it's a great place to 'circulate' at.
If you displayed a bit of Aussie 'attitude', it really wouldn't have helped you in England - well, anybloodywhere. But the Brits, have long had to put up with some of our compatriots being pricks of the highest order. Not saying you did - but the Big thing that has got me by, and into some truly memorable situations (good ones, for the greatest part), all over the world is by just being happy / smiling / good natured, whatever comes. It's got me to the point of having many contacts within teams / with riders, their families and supporters clubs, fellow spectators and organisers.
You going to Italy? Have a smile on your dial, and the Italians will love you, and treat you like family. All the nations will do that - MX is one big family, I've found.
he is staying with the Townley's in Belgium,
Hope he gets a good start again and can get a good result - knock , knock, Oh hell, it's the Anti Kiwi Appreciation Goon Squad at my door = I swear, occifer, I hates
When I've been there, I damned near would kill to have a pushy to 'circulate' on - it's a long way around that track, on dodgy old legs. I had the use of one, one year, and it made things so much easier.
Hope you have a better day of it. You're doing something most will never experience, with their stay at home ways .
