I wonder if Danny was having deja vu when he did that to Dovizioso yesterday?

Never forgave him for that but he wasn't the only one losing the front end Sunday and if Dovi hadn't missed his mark the 26 bike would have gone behind him. Thought dani showed some class with the apology.

Poor Dovi, taken out 2 races in a row.

Agree 100% with everything you said.

I too have never forgiven Pedrosa for his take out of Hayden but he did show class by apologizing to Dovi.

WSBK goes to Assen this weekend. Nicky had a spectacular MotoGP win there, let's see what he can do.

Of course I watched! And yes, Nicky's looking better. Trouble is, "Magic Micheal" is looking better still. Nicky's got some time and a lot of class and ability on his side, so there's plenty of hope yet.

I don't think Ten Kate are happy with their other American though. The boss looked really pissed off when P.J. crashed after the raced was red-flagged and again after the restart. After his silly crash in the last meeting, Ronald's patience seems to be being stretched.

Oh and nobody noticed Yamaha's announcement of Lorenzo's leaving yet? - here it is...........

Gerno di Lesmo (Italy), 18th April 2016

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announces that its partnership with Jorge Lorenzo will be discontinued at the close of the 2016 MotoGP season, when Lorenzo will move on to new racing challenges.

Since Lorenzo joined the Yamaha Factory Racing Team in 2008, Lorenzo and Yamaha won three MotoGP World Championships (2010, 2012 and 2015), clinched 41 race wins and have been on the podium 99 times out of 141 races contested.

Yamaha is extremely grateful for Jorge's contributions to its racing successes and looks forward to sharing more memorable moments during the remaining 15 MotoGP rounds of 2016, their ninth season together.

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. wishes Lorenzo the very best in his future racing endeavours and reconfirms the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team's full support on his campaign to achieve his fourth MotoGP title.

Having already reconfirmed Valentino Rossi for 2017-18, Yamaha will announce the future Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team riders' line-up in due course after securing the services of the second rider.

Hey JPT I've been watching, wish Rea didn't have such a big lead. PJ has had a pretty rough start to the year but he has had the speed for the win at all of them so far.Has anyone ever crashed out of the lead twice in one race? Can't wait to see Lorenzo on the Ducati. Should make for some interesting riders changing teams. Who do you guys think is out at Ducati? I think AI has a speed edge but, AD would probably be a better teammate ( Or less likely to take out his teammate). Sure love watching AI ride though.

Good ride by Kyle Smith and Gino Rea but I hate that Anthony West got hurt in practice he would of waxed the field once the rains came in the supersport race.

MotoGP this weekend in Jerez should be another round full of great races. Calling Jonas Folger for the victory in Moto2, Brad Binder in Moto3 and Valentino in GP.

Also, keep an eye on Aron Canet and Joan Mir in Moto3 this weekend.

Moto3 and 2 have been awesome this year! Most of the time a better race than MotoGP!

Yea that was good to see!

Bummer for the local Dutchman when he went down--the crowd was really into it, until that happened.

Wow, everytime Lorenzo opens his mouth lately I'm left thinking the guy is nuttier than squirrel shit. Apparently, he's now claiming that the entire time he's been Vale's team mate he's not been given equal machinery. He may believe that but I sure as hell don't.
The guy's also world class sensitive - read the Soup's latest article about the Yamaha joke video from 2009!

The reason that they WILL be banned from next year onwards is that time in wind tunnels is extremely expensive and adds nothing to the racing.

I don't get the whole winglet thing.

It seems to me that when the bike is tilted in a turn, you're not getting downforce, you're getting side force.

I'm sure the aero guys are smarter than me, though.

I think it's supposed to help under acceleration.

BTW is side force anything like side boob? Cause I like side boob.

I don't know about it helping under acceleration.

Tiny little wings like those would only generate measurable force at high speeds.

Whatever...
