If RD has any hope of winning the outdoor title this year....he better pray that those two have some bad motos. I just got this feeling that Kenny and Eli will be bringing the pain this year.

Call me crazy....but I would also keep an eye on Bagget this year. I think he may surprise a few people.

Some of you forget quickly. RD is always discounted at the start of the year. For the last two seasons all I've ever heard is how Eli and Roczen are going to smoke Dungey, yet every time -- without exception -- Dungey steps it up and does what has to do. Dungey doesn't need bad motos from those two, they need a bad moto from Dungey.

Perhaps you missed the part where I said "the last two seasons".

Speedwise? Eli has the field covered. Correct me if im wrong but didn't he beat Dungey straight up by over a minute in one moto last year? Dungey will be champ because his worst moto will be a 4th... Eli and Kroc have shown in the past that they can't keep up with Dungey when it comes to consistency.
Minute? It was 1:31 in one moto and over a minute in the 2nd moto. If I remember right....around 30 - 45secs at the second round.

The scary thing is.....he said he didn't feel like he was pushing to 100%. He had more in the tank. If he feels " That way " on the Kawi AND stays healthy.....I have no idea what's possible.

Love the rivalry brewing, those two race each other clean and aggressive, they are the next level.

I hope for a good season, with those top 3 guys staying healthy and dishing out the battle royal!!!

I would like to bet on ET3, but I think it will take him a while to get that KX dialed in. Remember it took him 3 years to get that Honda dialed to the point of being able to beat RD by 1:30! Eli strikes me as a very picky bike set up guy. If it doesn't work well or to his taste, he just wont be fast.

I think Krock will bring it this year and may be a threat to the turbo diesel!

We shall see!!!

hopefully Ken's SUSZUKI is a little faster this season, there were some races where his bike was visibly slower and he was struggling to get over the bigger jumps

I think there will be some good battles. But Dungey's fitness is definitely > Roczen's and Tomac's at the moment. He's definitely thriving under aldon's program. I think it's Dungey's championship to lose. It may even get boring by mid season.

and hopefully it won't end in an even more impressive slam again.
I think when Dungey and Roczen are 3 sec.+ slower a lap, than there's a reason for it....

If the bike is slower ,thats Ken s fault and the way he likes the power . No 450 is under power .

Those jumps aren't as big as the excuses you're making for Roczen.

He was also going just that fast when he went over the bars in his big crash too...wasn't he? Dungey has learned how to ride just as fast or faster (consistantly) than Roczen or Tomac...without throwing it all away.

I hope Eli and Ken both stay healthy...and on two wheels, for the season.
