Taking a world championship, world wide, can work. It probably sounds stupid for people who watch MLB and NFL and think that this are real 'World Series' and 'World Champs'.

But what I wanna say, When I talked with JGR Teammanager Jeremy Albrecht back in 2015 at Bercy/Lille Supercross, and I asked him if Feld was thinking about European Races he answered: 'We are talking about a lot of things to expand, European races like this one here in Lille is one of the discussions.'

But we all know that there is a big gap between putting the idea on the table and doing it. I will check if I still have the .mp3 file of the interview.
Some of you guys who can't get over the word "world" in anything just sound bitter. . . People from all over the "world" race the AMA series. . . We also joined the FIM (against better judgement) which is a "world" organization. Who gives a rats ass what water the word "world" holds. Ryan Dungey - World AMA SX Champ. . . that's his new title.

As for the AMA expanding into foreign countries, it's a terrible idea. You see what a cluster just going to Canada does to the championship. . . imagine all of the headaches of getting the shit overseas and back.

Wow, Feld must have decided to change their minds on the schedule release. Again Vitards run the sport.

Logistically it doesn't make any sense at all to have an overseas round. I can tell you one thing though, if they had just 1 proper, official SX championship race in Europe it would be a complete sell out

2 old venues returning, 2 new venues being added, 1 venue getting more than one race?

So Santa Clara and Foxborough are gone, and only one San Diego.

Minneapolis, Seattle, and Salt Lake City are back.

They made a big deal about returning to Foxborough but it is one and done. Was there not enough attendance between NJ and Mass to justify both races in the northeast?

Brutal stretch of the schedule for the drivers from Minnesota to Georgia, back to Toronto, and then right back due south to Daytona.

I wonder why Foxborough was one and done. I heard the Krafts weren't too pleased with the event and how it all went down but I imagine it would have had to have been real bad for them to pull out over that. Does anyone know the story there?

The NJ race kinda sucks since they are already closer to the west cost for 2 races then have to go all the way to NJ then all the way back to Vegas .

The riders and industry really seemed to enjoy Gillette Stadium and the location of it. I'm sure stadium rental cost and dirt cost is something that played into that.

Seattle better be sold out after all the complaining when that race was taken away.

seattle has ALWAYS had good attendance you idiot. im sure that was never the issue. this year it would have been 90 degrees if it was here on the regular schedule

I wasn't say it had bad attendance. I said either on this topic or another one that Seattle never should have been taken off. It's a great stadium and a great city.

All I'm saying is now Seattle fans have their race back and should sell it out. I'm a NASCAR fan and when they took one of our Darlington races away we have packed the one race we have out hoping we still get to enjoy that one event a year forever.

Looks like Bike Week in Daytona is starting a week later than usual. Puts the SX on March 11th. Like the old days when the race was on the last weekend of Bike Week instead of the first.
