I put his riding tonight down to thinking about points.

The championship is getting in his head and after last week's race and today's rutted jumps i think he just wanted to stay on 2 wheels. He wasn't as aggressive as usual and as a result was making mistakes and his corner speed was bad.

imo

If anyone thinks the geico bikes are not up to snuff in the HP department needs their head examined.

They have been consistently pulling holeshots both coasts - especially that ultra long start in arizona where hp shows. Malcom has had killer starts this year...let's not forget he holeshot this main tonight!

I'd bet money the geico and the ktms are the two highest HP bikes out there right now. And personally - in power across the curve, I'd give the nod to the geico bike.
The honda motor is largely unchanged since 10 - and anytime you can give smart hard working people a consistent similar platform to develop - they will get stellar results. Add in to that the honda head for 15 got just the changes it needed to further straighten the port (which geico was already doing) and you have a recipe for success. I know what we can make on the new 250f's....which is on par with some of the stock 450's.
With more time, more budget, and more motors - that number would climb more...and the teams certainly exceed our efforts.

No way he's as big as Peick. Dude is an NFL middle linebacker.

Having talked to both quite a few times... Malcolm is just as wide as Weston in the shoulder, and a bit taller.

The fact that more than one person missed that joke really has me worried about what will happen to me if I read these forums too often.

Anyways, Malcolm should be happy with the night. Martin and Marteen were both clearly better than him on that track and that dirt, but he kept it on two wheels, rode a solid race and managed to stay ahead of Pless, a rider who has capitalized a number of times this season on rough and rutted tracks. Malcolm stopped the bleeding and increased the points lead. Good show.

I think he did just fine. He left with a bigger points lead than when he got there.

I've noticed that. It's worse on nights when James crashes out of qualifying or heats and leaves in a heap. Daytona and saint Louis are good examples

i get where you are coming from, but when james got suspended for PEDs mookie seemed to fall right off

and i know he hasnt been there so its hard to say, but just look at when james has had exceptionally bad night, mookie often doesnt do too flash either. im not saying it ALWAYS happens, i just feel like he can be easily affected by what happens with his brother. and i feel like james could do a lot for mookie to help him out if he wasnt trying to race himself. if outdoors goes as badly as supercross for james he could do a lot more good by helping mookie though the season

Man I'm right there with ya.. Even when Malcolm got his first win last year (kinda pisses on your theory a little haha) one of the very first things he said was he wished his brother was there and looked a little down.. which is nice I guess but you just won ya first race man focus on your achievement first.. You can tell it's been all about James for his whole life and I don't mean that as an insult to their family in any way! I'm sure they did their best but when you have a talent like James Stewart in your family it tends to get the attention haha

Everyone needs to calm down with this Peick is a monster bullshit.

There is literally a picture of him standing next to Reed watching practice at a race earlier this year and he's not taller than Chad, who's maybe 5'10".

Lets see... He always gets good starts... A start is when you're at a complete stop... So Tonight, when I'm driving a
Freightliner to Walmart's, I most likely will have to stop at red lights along the route...

The Meat & Produce will weigh between 35k & 40k... Total weight between 65k & 70k and it's hard
to get rolling again...

If you"re blaming his weight on dropping anchor you need to find a new excuse...

It's harder, for a more heavy object, to come to a complete stop also... If it's his weight he'd lose 1 second on the
start straight...

His corner speed sucks & I'm not a Helicopter Pilot...

Funny thing, Chad may be listed at 5'10". But he is easily a 1" or 2" shorter. First time i met the cat i found that out.

A lot of tom foolery around here. I thought the Yamahas were so potent BECAUSE of the tilted engine and direct injection? Everyone around the pits knows those things are fast as Bo Duke bro

Peick is really not a big dude. Used to be pretty bulky in privateer days, but he's slimmed down so much, you wouldn't think twice seeing him in person

Didn't wanna make another status about Mookie, so since I started this one what is his status for outdoors? I know last year he wasn't racing for health reasons is that all squared away?

I had a long talk with Peick about his size. Hes 5' 10 190 pounds. It takes him a lot of work to stay that "skinny" so he eats right and works out. He weighed 270 when he was younger and it took a couple years of hard work to get to where he was happy.

I gained a ton of respect for the guy when he told me all he went through and has to continually do to keep his weight managed.

Well, youd know more than me, but thats what I was told. Plus when I stand next to him we are the same size, and I know how much I weigh.

But theres no way he runs 215 like you're claiming.
