since he upped his dose during the 09 sx season(reed was pushing him so he had no choice) he's been playing catch up(health wise) ever since. he seriously needs a new pharmacist.

I predicted this in another thread... That guy and his manager are serious flakes! Ever since Bubba sat out the Nationals he seems to be surrounded by an aroma of bullshit and weird stories.

I just posted a similar comment in the "other" James is out thread. I'm a huge fan, but growing skeptical.

I've heard his cancellation was due to not meeting deadlines for his upcoming reality show. They needed some crucial footage to wrap up taping, and it hasn't been completed yet. In order to finish, they had to cancel his upcoming trips before he needs to hunker down testing before Anaheim 1.

So how reliable is that information? Thats quite a little nugget to drop without saying who you heard it from and how reliable the person who told you is. Your basically saying his story about being sick is a total fabrication.

I'd say about as reliable as the Detroit Lions winning the Superbowl.

Are you this much of a prick in real life, or just on the Internet?

There are motocross people, and there are Internet people. Guess which one you and the rest of the haters are?

James could win every single moto of the year, become larger than the sport itself, and establish himself as the fastest man to ever ride a dirt bike and the idiots would still be hating.

Oh wait...that actually happened.

Your correct, thats the exact reason people are angry with him. So much talent and he chooses to sit on the couch for the summer then when he is supposed to race he has to cancel. Sick or not its still going to leave people with a bad taste in their mouth.

What other sport has such a dominant person in it that has decided to sit out and not participate? I am sure if Lebron James decided he wanted to take next year off from basketball everybody would be just fine with that and no one would bag on him for it. Im sure he would even gain fans for it..........not

I am sorry, you are 100% incorrect.

I heard directly from someone at San Manuel that the reason they don't do the outdoors is because it doesn't fit their scheme of visiting Boys and Girls Clubs. They want to reach the youth in the cities. This is the person that writes the damn checks so the boys can go race.

it was never James' decision.

And now he's sick. Why you think James should travel across the globe and risk his health to win some overseas races that are meaningless to his sponsors is beyond me.

It was James decision to sign with L&M so don't spout this line about its not his decision to sit out the outdoors, he knew when he went into it. People who sign with them catch crap for it, Chad caught the same crap.

Yes I am sure he isn't feeling well, but when he hasn't raced consistently in months then cancels and disappoints a heck of allot of people I call BS.

People defended the stupid decisions that Jlaw made for the longest time and look where that landed him. I understand there is a big difference between the two but seems like he is taking allot of negative crap from sitting things out.

Boys and girls clubs? That made no sense. Youth of the city, what the kids riding around in city parks?

San Manuel is not like most teams. They are trying to have a positive influence on the kids through promoting a positive role model like James-- not sell more products to the kids. At every Supercross James meets with the Boys and Girls clubs. These organizations do not exist out in the sticks where the nationals are held. It's a great idea.

You might be aware that Indians face a number of social issues like drug and alcohol abuse. James is a huge asset to them.

Who knows why James really went to San Manuel? Shit, who really wanted another season of James spanking everyone by a minute anyway? He has nothing to prove outdoors.

Carry on...

Thanks for explaining about the Boys and Girls club comment and I agree thats a great thing. I think the people out in the sticks would also get enjoyment out of seeing also and I know you understand that.

I think he has plenty to prove outdoors and hopefully we will see him back out there, like Reed did this year.

I think the stress all of these guys endure is a big reason for this. Not many people can relate to the physical and emotional stress one is under being a top flight athlete, and that goes for any sport.

I dont want to hear about "Oh really, I have a stressful life, and all that crap, kids, money, job, etc., etc.," What these guys endure is huge and should be respected for it. The amount of effort that goes ino the off season is massive. If you work hard during the off season you just maintain during the year.
you realise he sat out the outdoors right?
