Well, I made it through 4 rounds of layoffs, but there was no way around this one today. Got rid of basically the entire department with the exception of 3 people. So now I will sit at home, collect my severence and unemployment, and look for jobs while im not busy trying to make an extra buck on the stock market. Happy New Year guys!

Dropping like flies here too, obviously. I can't tell you how many of my friends, every time I talk to them, have the same story rucka..

Ole lady and I are almost ready to bail on MI. We just can't decide where to go. She's pushing to go where the money is, and I'm for a better quality of life for my kids and I..

Its getting bad, and is just going to get worse once all these companies report their 4th quarter earnings.

Good luck. I would be lying if I said I never felt the same pain. It makes you stronger. Additionally it often opens doors for you that you may have been blind to before. I certainly attribute a lot of success in my life to being in that same situation.

I know how you feel. My mother just found out this week that the retailer she works for is closing all its store. They are going to liquidate all the assets and close everything. Once the liquidators come in they will have no insurance and were told they would lose their vacation pay as well. My mother was schedule to have a procedure done on her leg in the next few weeks. Right now, looks like that is out of the question since she will not have any insurance more than likely as early as next week.

Market should rally like hell over the next couple weeks so buckle down and make some mad money.

Good luck!

Take a look at DRYS, I have played it almost exclusively the last couple of weeks and have made some damn good money.

Please tell me that you don't really think that a President can control the economy.

To think the president has no affect on the economy is just dumb.

Everything is going under it seems. Only jobs left are working for the government. And they won't hire me because I am a white male.
