Do any of you guys think that now people have the leatt brace and their 4-strokes.. They think there invincible?...Im kinda of starting to feel this way when i go to tracks and see guys getting carted out or med-evac out of the place... some of them are actually good riders and the others well shouldnt even be allowed on the vet track..

to:I dont think that you are seeing more accidents due to Leatt/Thumpers. More people are joining our sport... its growing.. and more dealers are selling 4 strokes...
The sport is progressing. If we had EFI two strokes or electric bikes the same could be said. Tracks and modern style of riding has made the speed much faster then it was 20 years ago. Add the interweb and everyone's broken finger makes top of page. It was all that damn Jeremy McGrath's fault with his stylish speedy attack of the track. Before him we were all dirt clods.
Personally, when I’m riding at the local track, I forget that I am even wearing a Leatt brace. However, when I am having trouble in a particular section of the track, I’ll sit there at watch other riders go through and note what bike they are on and how they do it (Line, speed, momentum, throttle control, etc.). Then undoubtedly, I say to myself…I got a bad ass 450, I should be able to clear that no problem. You know what happens next…Your either a hero or a zero.
My girlfriend is from HB and still has family out there so we are out quite a bit. Maybe one day we will move there, but it seems so fake. At least you have moto and surf to keep you from spending money on some dope dubs..lol
