I did some pretty sweet one handers and no footers while goon riding today, and some more pretty sweet square-the-corner-off-dump-the-clutch-and-look-back-at-roost 's.

at 37 i finally figured out the whip. it is all in the approach and it was one simple thing.

i can throw a pretty ridiculous one now. one that makes the crowd cringe and my buddy's come up and say "damn - man i thought you were toast, there was no way you were pulling that one back."

hint: when you throw it the right way it just comes back straight, you really don't do anything out of what you would naturally do to get the bike back.

i'll put my money where my mouth is sometime this fall. i'll have someone take some shots and get them up.

now if i can only figure out that damn first gear wheelie gary baily made us do 22 years ago i'll be happy.

I landed on a bike on the backside of a blind jump yesterday....

I did a backward, highside, over-the-bars, 11/2 pike - then laid out, double grippy on the left bar, upside down, flying "W", butt splash. All this without crapping my pants.

Beat that!

I once on accidentally hit a crooked rut on take-off and my bike went sideways. I didn't crash so I think it must have looked cool while I was flying sideways.

I, as well did that - not 40, but 35 years ago. Did you do it Friday August 29th 2008? Come on, cough up a high 5. I'm amazed I'm walking.

butt scrub or I tilt my head to the left or right when I hit a jump and it gives me the illusion of doing a whip...try it ...safe and fun...

I leave the gate in second gear and every once in a while when I'm really feeling frisky

I shift up a gear...Note: This move is not for amatuers so please don't try this at home.

Mines the 'Cross Rutted No Footer'

Difficult to perform every lap but find yourself a pair of deep ruts, drop your front end in one and the rear in the other and with a bit of luck your ass will bounce out of the seat and both feet will flap off the pegs, throw in a panic rev for extra points and bingo!

Note: For maximum crowd appeal, perform this trick whilst being lapped!

Tried a trick once but it scared me and I made chili in my pants.
Regular riding is scary enough.

Not falling on my head is pretty much the only trick I can do.
