isn't the rule now that if you ride 450SX once, you can't go back down? so will dungey move up next year or what?[/quote:2qhae4e4]
They relaxed that rule and invited lite riders because the gates have been light in the big class[/quote:2qhae4e4]

I noticed last week in Houston there were only 32 450 riders for the 2 heats.. Is that all that is showing up? Are they even running afternoon qualifiers for the night show?

Ouch! Roger just said he is not really happy with DV's results.. I agree and i am glad he said it and not me! Dv is a cool guy but i kinda wonder if he is really up to the task of a top factory guy. Still lots of time left though so here's hoping <img class= " title="Smile">[/quote:2ys8nw3v]
This is just my opinion:
1) DV12 hates the bike.
2) Doesn't trust the computer dorks who can't seem to fix the flame outs and boging.
3) he is hurt.[/quote:2ys8nw3v]

Hell, RC could win on it at idle speed with 2 broken legs. <img class= " title="Laughing">

What is it with the mentallity that it is alright for Jlaw to spend yet another year (09) in the lites and everyone was screaming for RV to move up this year. Didn't they start racing the lites at the same time, same year same race? Doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't Jlaw be moving up next year as well?

back to the good 'ole days...AMA rules are "flexible".

I hope he does ok. IMO, Dungey is one of the luckiest guys on a dirtbike...both good and bad luck. Not really anything inbetween for the kid. I know everyone says you make your own luck, but how many times has he been taken out by things like bikes going the wrong way on the track?

I'll ask Dungey what he thinks the next time I sit next to him on the stationary bike at the gym. 8)

They got rid of afternoon race qualifiers a couple years back (might actually of been last year, im having a brainfart). How they have been doing it is, you had to have top 40 laptimes. But since there was only 32 riders, everybody qualified. Its harder to sign up for a SX now though.

Maybe the riders are making a statement. Pay us or we aren't going to show up.

4 rounds of AX still left, then those will filter to SX too.

Dumb rule to make middle of the series. East coast lites get screwed out of opportunity to have seat time, exposure, possible chance at tiny purse, and contingency money.

Did they actually change the rules, or was it a "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" sort of deal?

I dont think thats it at all. Its just the people that would use to sign up to try and qualify arent allowed to anymore. I dont think its much of a statement being made either, they just know they can make more money doing local pro races and such.

i know no one wants to say it about DV but hes washed up. Hes a nice guy and the only pro cool enough to come on the forums but bein a nice guy only gets you so far. The suzuki ride should be givin to someone who deserves it, someone with a chance to be fast. DV is on a factory bike, basically the best there is and can not produce results, give a young up and coming privateer with a real chance the big break that they deserve.

He'll get back up there, especially outdoors. He's been injured.

All these kids coming up can ride the hell out of these 450's. Doing it 20 laps on SX track is another story. Dungey- no problem.

STFU IDIOT!!! He's one of the ten fastest Supercross riders in the world and he has been riding injured since last year. You can't name one guy who would have better results who doesn't already have a factory ride. He might not be at the fastest point of his career but there is no way you can say he doesn't deserve what he has. I just wish I knew how to say "Fuck You" in French!

I don't think DV12 likes four strokes all that much. He is one of the few who seems to really know how to ride a smoker right in SX (mx too). I don't remember the smokers having alot of flame out, burping or the bogging issues that the four strokes have seemed to have (is my memory that bad guys?). The new RMZ has had issues with this, I believe, and (I also believe) is makes DV12 nervous when he is going through rhythm sections.
Shoot, just look at how he is always talking about two strokes on the boards
I am telling you that RMZ450 is a pile of crap!!! Ask IT9 what he thought of last years RMZ  and dont give me that crap that RC won on the thing!!! RC could win on a Tornado if it held together.

raddad, hey man!! How are ya? Should I tell lenny you said hi? <img class= " title="Laughing">
Goose said he rides the big bike really well, i think it wil be great for him. Get out there and race, instead of sitting and letting what has happened the last 3 races twist his head into knots for 2 months.[/quote:dnrjj1el]

I am actually surprised The Man is letting Dungey ride the 450 being that he is in the title hunt. however, i agree with what you are saying and maybe that is what Roger is trying to do, maybe he realises that maybe Ryan does need to just go out there and ride in a different class with no pressure and just try to have fun and get a positive flow going again. I personally would like to see it happen!

DV has paid his dues and deserves the ride he has with Suzuki. Even with his injuries, he is still one of the best riders in the world. You aren't speaking the truth about anything, you are just a fucking moron. Maybe you would stop talking shit if you didn't have your head in your ass.
