I've always wanted one of those bikes with a chrome toaster for a tank for real! They look like they'd be a lot of fun -

They would power slide like an XR 750 also.

You have to admit, there has to be some comedy in thenotion of Hodakas used for a chase scene.

I wonder if they piped in the sound of a big Triumph twin for the soundtrack.

I escaped on my Suzuki 90 just fine. No Triumphs could keep up with me.

Suzuki 90's with the factory 100 kit smoked the Super Rat's.

Down pipes with no silencers, hot porting, bigger carb (if I recall?), and a clamp on Twin Air filter. Sounded like a wigged out sewing machine...

This guy was the dealer I bought the Triumph and three Yamahas off of. He could make that Bonnie go on a scrambles track. Spring of '69 just before MX hit big in Iowa.

THE fastest 100 was the G31M Kawasaki 100cc, rotary valver. Each one came off the dealer floor with a tag on the bars giving the dyno'd HP.
My older brother had 3 of the '70 models and 2 of the 71's, when they were current. The best one showed 18.9 HP on the dyno tag.

Still has a complete, low hour ,unrestored original '71 model right down to the K70 Dunlops.

Green Streak?

Green Streak was a 250 but the 100 was called the Green Streak Junior. A friend had one and it was fast as hell. After a ten or twelve stitch elbow he put knobbys on.

The 100 was called the Centurion.

Big 'bro as a 100 expert in D-36 , Sprockets M/C, Bakersfield ,California. 1970 G31M. He made #23 expert blue plate for '71 on these bikes.
