I wonder if they piped in the sound of a big Triumph twin for the soundtrack.

I escaped on my Suzuki 90 just fine. No Triumphs could keep up with me.

Suzuki 90's with the factory 100 kit smoked the Super Rat's.
Down pipes with no silencers, hot porting, bigger carb (if I recall?), and a clamp on Twin Air filter. Sounded like a wigged out sewing machine...

Saw one the other day and my jaw is still sore from where it hit the ground so hard. Never a prettier motorcycle built than a late 60's Triumph.

This guy was the dealer I bought the Triumph and three Yamahas off of. He could make that Bonnie go on a scrambles track. Spring of '69 just before MX hit big in Iowa.

Bet that bike would slide pretty good, cool pic.
My older brother had 3 of the '70 models and 2 of the 71's, when they were current. The best one showed 18.9 HP on the dyno tag.
Still has a complete, low hour ,unrestored original '71 model right down to the K70 Dunlops.
