Got involved with drugs. Went to jail. Now works at his dad's company (Maxima) and races occasionally in the old farts' class. He still hauls the mail pretty good, but he weighs about 3 times what he did in these pictures!
Wasn't 1983 the year that Yamaha wouldn't give him a bike after he signed with Honda? I seem to remember he won the San Diego SX on a stock Yamaha (still contractually obligated to ride a YZ.)
