I have a 2014 and a 2015 yz125, these are the mods I have now
Full mod jgr motors including ceramic bearings
Jgr did my suspension
Pc pipes
quick turn throttle assemblies
Dubya wheel set d.i.d. rims/tallon hubs
Applied triple clamps
Maxxis it tires
Renthal 996 twinwalls
Renthal intellilevers
Think technologies seats (1 lb lighter than stock)
Nihilo seat covers
Nihilo frame griptape
Restyled plastics on the '14
Nihilo Carbon fiber radiator overflow tanks
Oversized rotors
I use vp t2
I can't over bore the cylinder because I race in schoolboy which stops at 125cc

send your transmission to yoshimura for the isf polish to free up some power,
what are you running for a clutch? rekluse torque drive is amazing
hydraulic clutch
titanium axles and swingarm pivot
2009-2016 yzf rear end swap, this includes the swingarm, linkage, rear hub and brake carrier, this will shave another pound off the bike and handle even better.
And jgr polished the transmission on both and put vortex ignitions on both ,I forgot to include that lol
I'll definitely look into the rear end swap

The 2009+ four stroke swing arm is 5mm longer, so when you do a new chain you'll have to run the adjusters all the way to the front to allow the stock chain length and wheel-base length to work out.
The four-stroke axle is larger in diameter. You can get away with running the YZ axle, chain adjuster blocks, wheel and brake caliper bracket; or you can get the 250F wheel (or just the 250F hub) and save a little more weight.
The four stroke swing arm moves the bottom of your shock forward a few millimeters. There is almost no clearance between the shock spring on a YZ125 and the rubber air boot. Moving the shock forward causes the front of the spring to slightly rub on the air-boot right where it attaches to the carb when the suspension is topped out.
You have to buy the linkage from the four stroke also. The two-stroke linkage will bolt up, but to get the correct leverage ratio and rising-rate you need to run the linkage from the four stroke. There are slight variations to the swing-arm and linkage from 2009 to current YZ-F. Match the parts, all from the same year YZ-F.
How do you like JGR engine?
i plan on doing the longer one for the swap but i ride a yz250.
need
swingarm
linkage
rear hub
axle
brake carrier
axle blocks
good for 1lb weight savings (more of you machine the brake carrier down and remove disc guard tabs) and better transfer and flex from the next gen swingarm
Edit: I googled it. Sounds like you referring to undercutting the engagement dogs on the gears. Odd that is called "race cut".

I'm not a fan of using the clutch for upshifts. Some transmission wont shift at all if you don't clutch it...(KTM 250sx) If its undercut as soon as dogs start to engage they pull themselves together because of the angle of the cut and it makes shifting effortless
