We've got a juicer. Every morning we do an 80/20 mix of veggies and fruit. Weight loss, mental clarity, and physical energy are the most noticeable benefits I've been enjoying.

You dont understand the biology behind arm pump.
It has nothing to do with being fit.
It has to do with not being in shape enough for the workload being given at that time.

Could be stress, heat, not rested, etc etc.

Its easy to replicate "arm pump" with ANY muscle or musclegroup. See sentence number 3

Arm pump, and a muscle pump, say on triceps or chest or back are not the same thing at all. I can still train whatever body part I'm doing with a full pump.

When the forearms go, I can't use my hands for awhile. It's a totally different feeling.

Bullshit. When you pump another muscle like that you cant move it for a few.
Flatliner is correct. It's not the same. Arm pump comes down to the muscle fascia. I've trained all my life since I was 12. I do a good combo of cardio and strength exercises weekly. I ride 2-3 times a month. I ride with other riders who are personal trainers and fitness freaks. I've seen some of the most out of shape riders not get arm pump and some of the most fit riders get it (myself included).

I've posted this in the 4 Arm strong threads. I've been using the 4 Arm strong device now for ~3 weeks. I no longer get arm pump. That had nothing to do with my fitness - my fitness hasn't changed and neither has my workouts other than stretching with the 4 Arm Strong device. It had everything to do with muscle myofacia release.

You contradicted yourself when you said its from being out of shape and nothing else but then followed it up by saying its from holding on too tight.

Jeremy Martin suffers from holding on too tight. Not being out of shape.

Surgery is also a cause. So different people suffer in different ways.

Wives tales.
Do you know how many things have it in naturally?
Arm pump is a direct result of being out of shape. Nothing else.
Either youre weak or gripping too hard or riding too long but either way its from being out of shape for the workload you are giving your arms.
You never hear of kids who ride all day every day complaining about arm pump.

Arm pump 100% is a great excuse though.

The proof is this. Forearms are no different than any other muscle that gets a painful pump when overworked past what you're in shape for.

Pros with blisters. ....hahaha tell tale sign that dude isnt riding much. Otherwise theyd have callouses to withstand the workload.
The body adapts to the workload constantly given it. You cant fool mother nature.

Are you saying that there are no other muscles that pump up r/t fascia constraints?

Either way its not being in shape for the current workload given.
The cause is irrelevant. There are plenty of causes.

As mentioned it can be recreated with ANY bodypart. Forearms are easy because they are small.

Calves are a good one to prove the arm pump theory on.

Sure you can with Calves. I can make a guy not be able to walk very easy.
In fact it will hurt so bad a grown man will scream in pain.

Its the same thing. The biology of it is the same.

Dude, I've been training with a bodybuilding platform for 14 years.

My forearms are well developed , yet will pump up very quickly until I have a few rides under my belt.

When my Bi's tri's chest , calves, lats exc pump I can still use them. I've done 100 rep sets where my Bi's were on fire. Yet I can still use my arms.

With bad arm pump from moto I loose it in my hands. As in they can no longer operate the controls.

Mc in 02 crashed in the preseason and got arm pump after that. And that's a guy who never had it his whole career. It's not that the muscle can't handle the workload.

Lol. Larger muscle groups recover faster and they dont get pumped the same.
Also...all those muscles being used are incorporating others as well.

It is almost impossible to isolate back or chest without incorporating lats and shoulders.

You just said your arms pump when you havent ridden for a while, yet are well developed. You said that.

Great....However they are not in shape for the workload you've given them at that time.

Being fit has nothing to do with it. Read the prior sentence.
You can take a guy with massive calves and put the guy to a crawl.
Same with a guy with popeye forearms. You can make him not be able to pick up a pencil.

Once you underatand the biology of arm pump, its pretty easy to see the problem and its very easy to replicate.

I am surprised to see so many negative comments about "supplement dont work". I am far to be an expert in that, I dont take it anymore, all I know is the right combo work if taken as an everyday lifestyle.

No you can't, the pain and discomfort you are talking about is not related to the same effects as arm pump as what you describe is called "Charley Horses" where the muscle becomes tight and extremely painful which in turn is a muscle spasm.

Armpump is directly related to fascia and more commonly known as compartment syndrome.
Chronic exertional compartment syndrome is an exercise-induced condition.
This happens when the pressure in the muscles increases to extreme levels during exercise and thus creating pressure which creates a decrease in blood flow to the affected area which leads to a deprivation of oxygen to the muscles.

The fascia layer that defines the compartment does not stretch during this period, small amounts of bleeding into the compartment will cause pressure to increase. So basically speaking there is a increased intra-compartmental pressure in the interstitium over its capillary perfusion pressure, due to the accumulation of necrotic debris and haemorrhage.

Those are 2 very different cause of the pain and discomfort felt and what you are talking about.

No, once again it is not the same thing. I never studied biology only physiology when it came to human anatomy and performance.

Im not trying to make fun of you, just trying to help educate you here.

Not to sound like Hulk Hogan, but until I started recently drinking only water, vegetable juice made of juicer, and taking b12 shots and viramins, I felt constantly drained. I have a ton of energy and the best sleep at night I've ever had. I eat only veggies and two steamed chicken breasts a day as well as two salads with lemon juice and one teaspoon of olive oil as dressing as well. I just wanted to lose some weight, but the energy benefits have made me a believer.

Ummm....Runners get the same thing in their calves.

Same issue. They have the fascia release for the calves just as they do for the forearms.

Took an over the counter (eventually banned) pro hormone one time. Rode twice that month at the track. I could grip the bike with my hands as hard as I wanted. Arm pump did not exist. I do get arm pump a lot unless I ride more than once a week. I do lift. Point being "supplements" do work. My main source of protein is chicken, the only real creatine I get sufficiently is occasional beef (I don't eat fish).

Yes it does in most cases - I have seen lyno therapy work wonders to help release tension. However dependant on what level you suffer, it may not and surgery is required but again, that is not a definate fix. I know of a athlete personally who has had 3 ops and its only mildly better.

If you do have a treatment like Lyno it will need to be continuous and not a once off.
