All I see today is "the track sucked," "the broadcast sucked," heck, the is even people hating on a dude who rode in jeans. We complain about no semi racing, yet mxgp cuts out the WHOLE first motos. They are racing on horrid tracks in 2nd and 3rd world countries while us Americans complain about losing a few laps of qualifier at and event in a NASCAR track infield. We have full gates,a decent time slot most rounds, and plenty of fans. Why the heck are we getting so spoiled. Maybe I'm missing something so please enlighten me on the great disappointments of supercross.

The track sucked, and that's saying a lot about a SX track.... where passing is usually hard on ANY SX track....

Dude in Jeans..... whatevs. Doesn't bother me, or effect my day 1 bit.

MXGP: Just because their management is a bunch of ass clowns doesn't mean we need to settle for something they do.

I think a lot of people were saying the Daytona SX track was too one lined and hard to pass, thus the racing suffered as a result....

450? Yes. 250? Honestly felt it was a pretty decent race... I know I probably sound a little sensitive on the issue but think about all the good last night (Grant, Tomac, etc)

I thought the 250 main was fantastic, the 450 Main had the potential to be great until Dungey seemed to concede toward the end...enjoyed seeing Grant get top ten. I have never liked SX tracks compared to outdoors so to me all the SX tracks suck but this one no more than any other. As far as Semis I wish they never brought them back. 2 heats a LCQ and the Main would be perfect for my viewing pleasure.

GPs are skipping the first motos? Well that is weird since i have been watching the first GP motos without commercials live worldwide for years.

If our children are hungry, should we not be concerned because surely there are others whose children are hungry as well?

It was just a few years ago 1/4 of the races were shown in one hour on Sunday. Quit whining. Admit it or not,SX/MX is a 2nd tier sport. Until it brings in several million TV viewers it will continue to get bumped and shortened. Enjoy what we've got.

What you're missing 33 is that we've become so sophisticated as a consumer that we know a poor product when we see it. That is the nature of the beast.

I don't think the 250 race was super exciting. It was just guys following because of few passing spots.

Very valid point, just seems excessive to have 3-5 threads on the same topic...

bingo!

We are humans ... We evolve ... Therefore we are always looking to improve instead being content with subpar. Otherwise we would still be in a cave.

And just to clarify, it's not because we are moaning that we are not happy about the overall picture. In my opinion Feld did a lot of improvements to Supercross but some things could even be better ...

Agree with both sentiments. At times I think this place could use a specialized Spam filter. Wink

People are going to bitch no matter what. Its inevitable. All you can do is roll your eyes and move on because bitching is a constant. People have to take the anger about their own lives out on something.

For the record,I liked the track. Smile
I thought there were some neat sections and I enjoyed watching the different lines in some of the corners.

I haven't looked to see these threads… but the track did suck! Doesn't mean we don't have good ones or that our TV packages are no good etc etc… the track sucked.
