Like it's not even there. They jump from race 8 to race 10 with no mention anywhere of Daytona. Why is that ? Just curious.

It's a points paying event in Feld's series but they act like it doesn't exist. Ok then. Sounds like some sour grapes somewhere. Guess I don't need to know the details, just never noticed it not in the program before. I looked through my old programs back to 2012 and sure enough, one missing race every year. Learn something everyday. Carry on

They are dumb!

Would you expect anything less from a company that shares FIM/AMA control and calls itself a world championship?

Good point hahaha. I was sitting on throne and wanted to check out next weeks track and noticed next week is in the twilight zone according the "Official Monster Energy Series Program"

Wasn't there 2 Canadian rounds at one time that didn't count towards the AMA title, but you had to race all the rounds to become the "World Supercross Champion" Who won it ? Was it Kyle Lewis ?

I think it was only 1 and Heath Voss got to be "World Champion" that year because he was the highest person in the points who went to it. I don't remember if he won that race though. That was the first year of the FIM being involved I believe and the next year most everyone went.

There were 2 Canadian rounds in 2005, 2006 and 2007 (Toronto and Vancouver). They didn't count towards the AMA SX title, but did count towards the "World" SX title. Voss won it in '05 as well as Stewart in '06 when RC won the AMA title.

Voss was cool as could be. He pitted next to us when I got to do the vintage gig front and center at the pit entrance for the Houston SX back in 2010. Ended up buying my Concept 2 somewhat through him. That cat was fit.

Voss won it in 04, then there were two European rounds if I remember correctly. Ricky won it in 05 since he did the two Canadian rounds, and James won it in 06 when everyone started going to them.

Ah I couldn't remember if it was more than one round or not. I remember the few years of the split championships though and most everyone treating the World thing as a joke. Good times.
