Seen him race here at Raceway Park, he definetly surprised me with his SX skills in Atlanta.

Kid was a really good amateur, but I really questioned him getting that slot. He delivered none the less.....good for him, hope it's just a taste of what's to come.

If I am not mistaken that was his first ever super cross , he turned pro last year at muddy creek national

he's a budds creek area local, mom passed from cancer not too long ago i believe. we used to use the same suspension guy which is how i got to meet him and his father, back before he was KTM supported. He came in totally under the radar.

I raced him one time in 2012 ish, it was a 125 only race. They let some kid (alex frye) race on a supermini.. im out there feelin good, you know, i'e got the "flow", 2nd place start, passed for the lead in the second turn. it's like a mini Jeff Emig is on my shoulder whispering into my ear how smooth I am, and at the end of the first lap, that little SOB came flying by me in a high speed rutted section so fast it peeled the graphics off the side of my bike.

kawboy, i dont think anyone on this forum is surprised that you've never heard of someone who just top 10'd a professional SX race.

He used to be teamates with a family friend, steven gretchen, rockstar suzuki.

Alex's mom is alive and well. His dad is a cancer survivor and is doing well. Great kid, great family. I'm super pumped for him, rode great Saturday night.

I met him and his family at the Junior World Championship in Belgium. Spoke with them at the training track in Helicine on Thursday and afterwards they said "Hey of Hellow" every time we saw each other on the track in Liernieux. Very nice and down to earth people.

Great kid backed by an amazing family. His dad, mom, and sister were all in ATL to root him on. And I'd say his top 10 was very impressive!
We followed him a few years back for Road to Loretta's if you want to get to know him.
