Shes supposed to be, hopefully she has more speed than last year, it was painful watching her at Vegas. The speed difference between the front runners and her was crazy.

That can also be said for most riders that try to qualify....

She was at Phoenix at the rig with her bike. Don't know if she was trying to qualify there or not, I didn't get there for qualifying practice, just saw her in the pits.

I wouldn't put "very" in that sentence. The only reason she made it out of the day time qualifiers last year in Vegas was because there were a crap ton of guys sitting it out to prepare for Hangtown. And even then she barely made it.I know, I know, I would get smoked by Ms. Golden. I have no problem with her trying. Regardless of her goal to be in the night show weekly, she needs to get her speed up a couple of notches to be able to safely navigate the race course with the likes of the 10th place guys as they lap her.

At ATL 2 last year she beat 9 guys and her time was closer to qualifying spot than last guy. Definitely not easy to qualify, every rider in the main needs to be faster than lots of other riders.

I give Vickie a lot of credit in that she isn't afraid to step out of the "comfort zone" of women's racing and line up with arguably some of the best riders in the world...who don't happen to be women. Aside from all the arguments over female vs. male strength...she is showing that she can at least run with the men. Is she a threat for the podium...no, and may never be. But, like an earlier poster put it, she's not going out there trying to get a start and run with the front runners. She is working to be as successful as she can and probably prove something to herself and women in general. That's a pretty cool thing, really.

I saw her multiple times last year racing in Costa Rica, she won every heat in women category, but in mx2 (in Costa Rica...) she was much slower than most of the guys. Unless she picked up some serious speed , I don't think she will qualify mx2 supercross in US.

Come on. Put their times to shame? Really? You think Duncan will have faster lap times than Herlings, Cairoli, Febvre, Townley, etc? Yes, she might have time similar to some of the slower guys, but she's going to shame all the guys?

The op said she would dominate the women's gp . Started another sentence and said her lap times would put the guys to shame . With saying that he included all the guys n I'm like agn I don't see her lap times shameing any of the guys listed highly doubtful she will put many of the guys that qualifys time to shame !

As long as she can beat even one man with an AMA pro card (which she does regularly,) then she deserves to keep trying.

She just won our biggest event here in NZ, she dominated the woman's and then went on to beat all the guys in MX2. She even beat red bull ktm rider who was trained by Townley and Everts. I think she had the 3rd fastest lap of the day behind Cody Cooper and Todd Waters. Feel free to check her times against the mx2 class this season

Mr TMZ strikes again,Is there any rider that you don't know everything about ? their hopes their deams their goals in life? You have got to be the biggest know-it-all I have ever seen on Vital and that is not a good thing. I just cant figure out how you do it and still get your home work done after a full day in Jr high and still make your 10pm bed time. Blush

Her whoop speed was an issue last year. She was jumping all of the triples and the same rhythms as the guys 25-40.. but her corner entry speed and the whoops were her undoing .. she seemed too focused on the obstacles to charge the corners and she would roll the whoops ..

Met her at Elsinore today and watched her ride. She is confident and riding well. The night show is a tall order especially at the first 4-5 races. I think she'll do it legitimately before Vegas. Super cool person to! I wish her good luck.
