Anything from Reed on this? Of course he would be between a rock and a hard place being a Monster rider.

I completely admit that what I'm about to say is very shallow and could very well be wrong, but when I read that post from fly360, I couldn't help but think they probably glazed over some fine print in whatever contract they had. I know grammar isn't always the best indicator if intelligence, but it sure helps give the impression that you give a damn about the details.

Yeah that's pretty standard. Kawi is MONSTER Kawi so they of course get to run the black and green colors. The satellite Kawi teams probably do as well by association.

Don't you find it interesting that the only news we hear from Fly360 is when Reed says he can't race outdoors because the GoPro deal conflicts with fly360 and now Fly360 can't race because of colors?

It seems a bit like Fly360 can't read all the fine print and know what they are getting into before blaming everyone else for their problems.

I don't drink Monster but everyone needs to relize that they give action sports a BIG flow of cash. Unfortunately Without that money, A lot of people will be out of work.

Wow, one thing to ask they change their logo color, but to require 360fly remove their models and presence in the pits is something much bigger. Monster is doing the dirty work for another series sponsor. Shady shit for sure.

It probably is to Reed. As I recall, it was a pretty lucrative deal for him. Not sure how much it would really effect Yamaha as a whole though.

When Dungey's wife was joining him on the podium last year she was by far the hottest woman on the stage - made the Monster chicks look like skanks. I knew they would put an end to that in short order.

How do we know Monster really forced them out? Could it be that Monster asked them to change colors and they refused knowing that was their way out. Moto may be a good place for them down the road now is not the time. All I'm saying is there is at least one more side to this story.

I'm not going to throw Monster under the bus; but, I think this IS a mistake.

As for the color? The Green Claw-mark came waaaaaaay after Kawasaki had run the bright green color...and Mopar ran it in the early '70s. I know, I painted my bicycle "bug green" in 1973.

Unless there's more to it than the color (& there may very well be!)...

This IS a Mistake.

I know what you mean, the fine print in the contracts..... once a company gets big, it tends to hire big lawyers and pay smart people to design plans to make more money.....Something tells me there was a contract created to make a certain company more money and there (yes there - not their) is no point in protesting it.....

I'm not a fan of companies playing the victim card. If this was the first time 360 Fly was run off, I might be inclined to believe Monster was just being pissy. However, since this is the second time they've been run off for contractual reasons (and by 2 separate companies, too), I'm thinking 360 Fly management (and their lawyers) aren't very good at running a business.
