The Christian Craig and Cooper Webb battle...

I had to rewind a few times on that stand-up pass on the inside from Craig. Beautiful!

Flat tracking while standing up! That really shows Craig is comfortable/confident on the bike. I bet he will take a W before the season is over.

On Steve's post race podcast Christian said that Cooper was a little pissed about it. Said he shook his hand and told Cooper good race and all Cooper did was nod. I saw nothing wrong with Christian racing him hard. Good clean racing, Cooper was definitely the faster guy and Christian did kind of hold him up, but that has to be better than someone putting him on the ground. Anyway thanks to both of those guys for an exciting race! Let's see it again next weekend!

Incredible!! I was on the edge of my seat watching those two guys go at it. Back and forth , I don't know how many times. Nice clean , aggressive , bar bangin' action. They both seemed to of had a lot of fun out there too. So glad Cooper didn't get pissed and try to put him on the ground , and he kept his cool.

Always been a big fan of Christian's technique. Buttery smooth and looked to be on a play ride...makes it look that easy. Really happy to see him make a return to racing again. Man that was a great race!!

I agree. One for the chat board history books. I think I counted 15 individual passes for the lead.
Why would you quote the OP if you are the first one to answer in this topic Blink ... Monday morning irritations Silly

The on screen leader board couldnt keep up with the lead changes. Good race. Webb like emig said, was way patient.

+1 it was great to see Cooper give Craig the respect of clean, aggressive riding. Cooper's post interview on the podium was good, too. That's the Cooper Webb i'm a fan of, for sure.

The way Craig carved underneath's Webb's first pass is in and of itself, one for the history books. It doesn't get better than that. So fast...

Craig's scrub on the jump before coming onto the start straight after one of Webb's passes (I think his first attempt) was incredible. Craig has some of the best style on a bike.

CC's got the speed. but you can tell he's racing his way into fitness with how winded he was on the podium after his heat race win. It's been awhile since I've seen a guy struggle to catch his breath on the podium the way he was.

I was sure pulling for him in the main though.
I noticed that too, Rooster. Webb knew what he was doing. He played CC like a trout - tired him out.

It was a great battle for sure! I liked the way they kept it clean, and if I remember correctly, they both sort of complimented each other on the podium.

Definitely some great racing. I was hoping CC could pull it off. Maybe if he could have been a few laps later into the main before Webb got to him.

I'm surprised no one is talking about the heat race. CC passed Webb and held him off for the win. I think that is the first time someone has passed and stayed in front of Webb this year, heat or main, right?

when Craig cut down early, i had a flashback to Stewart vs. Roncada, 04' 125sx East/West shootout. I'll never forget Roncada's quick turn. I came out of my seat, literally.

Found it here, makes you appreciate the HD quality we have these days:
