Track looks good but... That Bike-Rider behavior just hurt my eyes. I'll stick with MvA Unleashed

Looks good for track maps but it's a bummer for the video game fans that Rainbow recently said they have no plans to release them for Encore.

From Rainbow developer Redneck Express on the MVA forums:

We're not going to tease y'all on that. There are no licensed tracks coming out anytime soon.

After 10 years of asking for replicas, they make 'em...but not for us. Sad

Maybe there's a reason. Maybe some day we'll get them.

perhaps they don't have the RIGHTS to release them to the public but do have the rights to make the previews?

i don't know, i don't feel like it's a slap in the face

i too think it would be awesome to get the tracks as DLC, maybe they'll all be released at the end of the season?

Yea I mean. If they released the game for $20. And sold each round of sx for 2.99 a track. Downloadable the day after the event....id be buying every week.


Now maybe they can show us a preview will 16 guys. Randomize who wins. Like what madden does.

They're missing a huge opportunity, IMO. If they don't have the rights to release them, what's stopping them from getting the rights? I don't know how it works, but I assume they would just need to pay Feld a licensing fee? Is getting the rights more complicated than that? I've noticed these track maps are in the actual stadiums, do they need to license the stadiums too? I would be fine with replica tracks in generic Encore stadiums. I dunno, I just feel there's massive sales potential here that isn't being utilized. I wish someone from Nordic/Rainbow would just say "look guys, THIS is why we can't do it."

when i win the 1.5B tonight i'll buy the rights from Feld, sell them for a penny on the dollar to Rainbow, and make them available the day of the race.

Add one off camber and the track is no longer the same so therefore it's not a replica. just an idea
