It was like the track was too small.

Not really but it was hecticly sketchy while super exciting seeing that many fast guys in the premier class running practically the same pace occupying so much of the track in the first few laps. We should be so grateful for the line up we've got this year, got some of the original legends, quick rookies and plenty of guys on the middle ground. I pray I'm wrong but I don't know if I see this lasting that long, as far we know we've lost 2 of these guys (Peick for 2 weeks and unsure on Stewart but apparently looking a little unlikely for next week) for a bit, within that time we could lose more. This is an incredible line up with potential for amazing races and potential for disaster, outstanding that there'll be fast dudes in every semi too! I'm not trying to be a pessimist just want to know if you guys think A1 was the first and last time we'll see this complete lineup or not?

Wasn't entirely going for the old CC safety debate, just asking if anyone else thinks this will end up like the 2015 MXGP season with only a few big names remaining.

Or every other season. It really sucks. Obviously nothing you can really do to prevent injuries. But it sure sucks for all involved.

Watching timed practice I thought something weird was going on with the track. I wasn't sure if the riders timing was off due to the first race of the season or if the track was just sketchy. Something was going on with it IMHO.

It was the second and third straights. They were narrow. The third straight triple-triple-double was spaced tight and threw a bunch of people off. Stewart biffed it in the heat race, probably jammed his wrist. He biffed it again in the main when Anderson slipped by. After the next right hander, the track opened back up.

LOL

Tracks/lap times too short, whoops too small or too big, terrible corners, terrible soil, etc........

It's always something with someone.

What ever happened to just showing up, racing your ass off with what you got and what was presented, and letting the results speak for themself?

It's not about always complaining, but I do agree the track had a different feel, challenging but like others have said, seemed a bit narrow compared to the past. I love changes, and this was a good track, just didn't feel a flow, the landings face on the back side of the jump seemed steep and gave guys fits try to land perfectly and keep their momentum smooth.

I love the longer lap times, and I'm sure everyone else did too. I actually had to record over the 30 minute window I give my DVR because of the red flag, something I haven't had to do ever.

Some tracks people will hate, others will love. It's how life goes.

450s have now exceeded the bounds of a stadium sized track - what's it take, three blips of the throttle to go from one side of the stadium clear to the other, with the rider and bike airborne 80% of the time. This ain't motocross, its the flying circus

It did seem like the track was a little more narrow than usual. That's not to say that it was too narrow, just seemed more narrow. I don't know if it actually was or if it just appeared that way.

I think the fact that a lot of the heavy hitters being so close together and using every part of the track they could to get around one another attributed to the fact it looked a little narrower than usual, I'm sure DirtWurx official width would say otherwise but just from eyeballing it seemed to look that way.
