Just looking at the list over at RacerX.

Surprised to see no Josh Grant? Can riders enter late?

Darian Sanayei will not race A1 due to injury. He'll be replaced by Frenchman Simon Mallet.

I'm not surprised that Grant is not listed. There has been absolutely no talk about him racing SX. PC did their usual deal and signed up all of their riders for A1. Matthes has said that it'll be Savatgy and Alldredge.

450 Brand choice is interesting and surprising?

Honda 34%
Suzuki 20%
Yamaha 18%
Kawasaki 16%
KTM 8%
Husky 4%

So Pro's prefer Hondas?

The two most underpowered bikes in the showroom, are more preferred....interesting.

250 Brand choice not so surprising?

Yamaha 32%
Kawasaki 25%
Honda 21%
KTM 10%
Suzuki 7%
Husky 4%

Makes sense that Pro's prefer the YZF250F :-)

Not showing Millsaps on the Pre-Entry list either?

Was he just missed on the list or is there something we don't know?...

What the pros prefer is not relevant since they ride what they get paid to ride or what brand/dealers can get the best deals.

doesn't everyone ride with the best deal they can get from dealers?

ok then, lets turn it around, isn't it interesting that the teams choose the Hondas and Suzukis more over the others? Is that better?

Interesting phrasing "Two most underpowered".

Also all of Team BTO is missing. Just one rider on a non factory KTM/Husky.

I see our local Houston Vann Martin #421 will be riding the 450 class.
Hoping the best for him.

Don't think it really matters with a 450. They all have enough power when you put another exhaust on. What would they do with the extra power anyways. Only makes you more tired.

Doesn't particularly worry me, just a interesting observation

And I agree with you, a shame magazine shootouts state the opposite?
