Should also include where you got it done & how much you paid, for people like me who want to know! OP I like your lower coating the best out of anything available.

Seaclassexpert. FCR suspension does upper for 250 and lowers for around 800. if you can find a local anodize shop they will do the uppers cheap..

Gotta make sure that cost includes disassembly as well. That could add a few hundred bucks. I know the lowers can be a real PITA to remove from the fork lugs without damaging them, especially with stock cast lugs.

That color changing green/purple on the lowers looks sooo trick! That's what I picture when I think about fancy coatings!

Here's mine, excuse the messy shop, I was in a hurry to get a pic to show my buddy's, lol

and with powdercoated spring, was tired of the hideous yellow. can the guys at FC please coat them a more neutral color?

Also, the shock shaft is gold nitride. But its a bit worn off, wanted to get it re-coated but was advised against it not holding up on a 'used' part. Didnt want to chance it. Then tried to search around for a NOS dlc coated shock shaft and never could find one. Oh well.

You can recoat the shaft even the stanchions as long as there are no grooves, rust, and the chrome is still good.

do you think they can coat over an existing coating though. say dlc OVER TiN? thats the issue, its not just chrome, has TiN already on it. I don't know if they can coat over.

cool. guess they can remove it.

keep in mind those prices, are pretty inflated. those guys just ship it off to the guys that do the coating. the machine that does the PVD depositing is insane. they just take a nice deferral cut.

Are those kashmia coated on top or anodized? Either way, they look sweet.
