So the MotoClub depot has now been added to Encore on the PS4, I was wondering if anyone had downloaded any of the new tracks and if they were worth parting money with..? It seems pretty steep to me, £16 for 17 extra tracks plus £8 for the Stewie compound AND £16 for the KTM & Husqy packs! Pretty expensive really, when you could get a brand new game for 40 quid..

For example, a patch may be "ready" from the studio, but it can get held up by Microsoft and Sony, same with a release date. Sometimes you can't get all the dev hardware and tools you need from the makers of the game systems, etc.
Adding everything you may want can also be a matter of having to manage features and resources against a budget and timeframe. Sometimes you're forced to put in content the more moto guy doesn't care about instead of stuff they do care about because someone higher up thinks it'll make the product more money. Sometimes they are right. Sometimes they aren't of course.
Have to keep in mind with both support from Microsoft/Sony and the budget side of things, MX games aren't massive titles that are putting up record setting numbers, so it's always an uphill battle.
I'm glad to not be on the receiving end of the firing squad anymore when you know you've personally done all you can to make it the best you can and it still isn't what many want.
While I was able to enjoy the time spent working on the titles I did and I'm proud of the work I was able to do, I certainly don't regret leaving it behind one bit. I really don't forsee a true hardcore MX game ever hitting the mainstream market, and that is a huge let down.
