There was this guy. He went pretty fast but he doesn't ride anymore.

Anyway, he was battling this other fast guy at a fairly big race in Binghamton, NY. They hauled ass down a huge downhill, but only one guy made the corner. The only reason that this photo exists is because the guy on the red bike's wife happened to be there with her instamatic.

I love this pic. Determination and balls out attitude.









Please excuse the quality. The guy on the red bike took a picture of the print with his iPhone.

Two of the very greatest, right there. I feel so lucky to have been a fan when they were active competitors. Just so many good memories anytime I see pics from the early to mid 80's! Thanks!

This is awesome! I have to show my dad, that was his era. Love seeing pics from old days. Makes me want to go watch On Any Sunday 2 for the ten thousandth time.
