First and for most, Mitchell and I are still good friends and that kid rode his ass of for us in 2015 sx. Yes, I may have been hurt that he left, but only because I was bummed we were not going to be working together. In regards to me switching around? Look at it this way. Every year I've always managed to go racing and as of recent years created jobs within the industry with race team positions. For all you haters out there, if you are true fans of the sport, what would you rather see? A rider that is sitting on his ass, boo hooing, complaining that he doesn't have a ride? A rider that quits, because nothing is available that is easy to grasp a hold of? Or, a rider that doesn't take no for answer because I truly love racing dirt bikes, and the sport.

Look, I may have switched bike brands, and title sponsors the last few years but I've always stuck by the companies that have taken care of me. Fly, FMF, Merge, 180 decals, just to name a few. When you are raising sponsorship money to go racing you have to hit a number, or you are going to have to park it.

We couldn't be more excited to start this multi year partnership with Motorcycle Superstore! It will be nice building a store relationship with them the next few years. We are hoping to bring new light to the sport by approaching it with some different angles! I hope I cleared things up a little bit!

Thanks, Jimmy! While no one here deserves an explanation, you are a stand-up-enough guy to offer one anyhow. I think your attitude, positivity toward the sport, given all of the hardships you have faced in the past few years with injury, and your general demeanor are an absolute asset to MX/SX. For all of those reasons, and the fact that your wife seems pretty cool to everyone, I kicked down a hundo when your van broke down that year on the way to Thunder Valley. Support is tough to get and you do a good job finding it, representing those that help you, and all the negative Nancy Vitards on here aren't smart enough, or rather, are too ignorant to realize it. Just know that not a single person on this thread with a negative/stupid/uneducated comment has never done ANYTHING positive for our sport. As a matter of fact, they are part of the reason with why this great sport will never be bigger. Companies all too often associate it with ignorance, stupidity, the bro-scene (which is very profitable), and frankly, a dead end market. It's unfortunate, but all you have to do is lurk a few threads on here, or any moto forum, to pick up an instant negative/hater vibe, a representative sample of the moto population. It's too bad, because at the races or the track, these people are like family, but then they get a keyboard and lose their minds!

Keep doing Top Jimmy just like you do, the sport needs it!

The team will contest the full 17 race Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series and 12 race Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with a four rider roster in the 250 class on the new 2016 RMZ250 Suzuki.

There is no way in hell this team shows up at Southwick with 4 250s on the line. I give it until Hangtown until it becomes another J-Star KTM.
And have you heard what he's (Matthes) had to say about ARMA more recently?

Nobody seems to have answered this yet, but Matt Goerke is still racing with ARMA Yamaha for supercross. Jimmy isn't involved with it anymore, but the Goerke deal is still happening.

In all seriousness, congratulations on putting together your new team. We need more guys like you in this sport. The fact that you've been able to secure support every year without being top tier rider (no disrespect) says a lot to me. IHB that you will make a great team manager after you hang your boots up.

Current struggling racers should take notes. Don't burn bridges, market yourself as many ways possible, and don't sit on your ass waiting for the phone to ring.

If you ever went to Loretta's and got to be at the introduction ceremony at the beginning of the week for all the racers, their families, and others.........Here is what they had to say......

........... "No matter how this week of racing goes, you are all winners for making it here".

That is exactly how I feel for all those racing at the top level of our sport.What these kids went through to get there is beyond 99.99% of what most people have ever put themselves through.

Congratulations Racers...you are 1/100 of 1% of the population

Hey Jimmydaddy100... most of these people dont actually race motocross, or attend the races in person. Their window into MX is a weekly broadcast, and internet heresay, with a sprinkle of vurb. That is why their perspective is so far off course, that it causes them to say the shit they say.
