At 3 min into the SX1 Main vid, James almost goes over the bar, throw a leg out. Pretty sure he hurts himself when he landed and his leg touched the ground.

Edit: As Kongols said, watching closely, Malcolm hit James leg right after his mistake.
He gets his left leg out but then later he favors his right one.
I don't get it, weird crash

edit: didn't think of someone hitting his right leg but you guys might be right. Not sure who it is though

Reminds me of this one

I watched it closely and it`s not Malcolm. It`s someone on a Yamaha that went hot in a corner. I think it`s Febvre.

You're right, Malcolm is ahead of James and it's not Malcolm that hits James but James that hits Malcom when getting out of control. Then Malcolm falls on James. I don't see anybody hit James, I think he just hurt himself when he put the foot on the ground.

I think Febvre hit Malcolm and it's what makes Malcolm fall on James.

But he`s limping on a right leg and that means he got hit from a outside. If it was when he put a foot on a ground it would be his left leg.

Anyhow, it`s James`s own fault. Let`s hope it`s nothing broken.

Bit of a bonehead move from Malcolm on the first lap. Great race at the front though.

Ferrandis handlebars broke in half during the contact, talk about a hit...

yamaha better makes sure to find a spot for webb. he's already a top 5 guy i reckon and still has a season on the 250's left.
on a us sx track he would have passed peick for sure but with a tight track like this, they have to be careful how aggressive they get. they obviously want to leave healthy.

Webb is awesome, rides with so much determination but has the technical skills and style as well.

Factory yamaha should just put him and Reed in a 450 team for next season. Webb is ready.

Hopefully Stewart is ok but that's two races in his return and crashes and injuries both times. It's hard to see him make it through sx nevermind outdoors (he's never made a full big bike season of sx and mx yet)

webb is ridding good but to say top 5 is crazy right now. we aint see RD5 ET3 TC41 KR94 CR22 JB51 JA21 CS14 BB4 and if JS7 is good to race.. so webb will be there but not right now

these races are AX remember that SX is 20 hard laps

I think Webb is above Seely and Baggett. Reed can win a race or two, but most of the time, He's top 8-9 right now. Webb was also able to pass Barcia at Ernee and Canard in Japan...

Glad to hear Malcolm say he didn't intend to T-bone that guy.

Shit. Stewart was taking it easy, no bonehead moves and still... Fuck.
Actually...he nearly went over the bars 100% on his own. Then he was hit after coming to a stop in a bad spot. The nose heavy landing does not look like enough to hurt him. If he is hurt...it is likely from getting hit after he nosed in and came to a halt. If he had not nearly gone over the bars...none of it would have happened.

Watch the vid...

http://www.vitalmx.com/videos/member/2015-Bercy-Lille-Supercross-SX1-Ma…

2:56...he is through the sand turn
3:00..after going way inside...he lands forward on the single...and is nearly going over the bars... no one close to him
3:01...saves it...left leg is out...right on the peg...but he just stops dead...
3:01...camera cuts to another view...he is stopped...but still up
3:03....you can see that he got hit and is falling to the ground
3:21...clearly hurt his right knee...

Typical Stew. He has a way of turning a small mistake into a disaster.

kaidoddragon.. 2016SX if all the big dog are in webb cant get top 5 even if he gets the wshot. SX is what these guys live for.web can barely get MS50 on a 250f..if I was a team owner I would put mookie on a 450 asap.

"Barely get MS50" ?

This is not what we saw with the West coast championship...

Can we pin this thread to top whilst we have day 2 still to run?
Question
Thought Barcia was down to race? What happened?

That was exactly my thought. The only person to beat Webb on the west last year was Webb himself. Webb was clearly the fastest rider on the west. I think me was even more dominant that Marvin was in the east. I'm not saying he was better than Marvin (that race we never got to see) but he was significantly faster than MS50 last year.

I'm also not saying he could go top 5 with the big boys but he certainly would be in the mix. I'm not even a fan really (I don't really like the cockiness) but there is no denying his talent on the big bike.

Paul Mailin confirmed no James today. Possible tweaked knee, possible ankle. No one seems to know at this point. Didn't Malcolm say "glad he's okay" in the Racer X interview? Probably sore but hope it is nothing serious. Honestly, I don't want him to race right now. Just be healthy for A1 where it counts.

If he is okay I think he really needs to train his ass off between now and A1. He obviously is rusty but he also seems brittle. Comes with age but I guess.
