hi ricky ,just would like to say thanks to you . i met you in belgium ,in 03 for MXON . and i got you to sign one of my painting .it is one of my most prized possession ,so thanks a mill

the question i have is a riding technique one . when cornering do you like to use the more traditional technique of ,either braking or throttle never coasting . eg( taught by Gary Semics) .or the new technique of releasing the brake just before the corner and use the costing speed to turn eg ( taught by Sebastien Tortelli ) . i find the Tortelli way works great in ruts . should i use this technique everywhere ,eg bowl turns and flat turns , or does it only work in ruts , thank s a mill

Was having that Honda with the low bars and squatter rear end really the hot setup and the only way you could haul ass on that scooter? That alone makes you a bad mofo IMHO.

Ricky... Thanks for taking the time to do this and thanks for inspiring me back in '01 to get back on a dirt bike from a 20+ hiatus ... Caught a couple races... Went out and got a bike '01 cr 250!!!

Two questions:

How do "see" the track and your competition after that gate drops?

Any hot set-ups or factory tricks for the '05 RM 250/ what did you suggest to add that got added to the '06?

RC, you've tried venturing into other forms of racing after retiring from motocross (nascar/trucks) do you think you'll ever return to a form of racing again such as Rallycross, or Lucas Offroad Racing? Many former racers, Rick Johnson, Ward Mcgrath Pastrans Deegan have all done fairly well in arenas dealing with dirt which plays into the knowledge from motocross.

If you hadn't got hurt Sad at the Glen Helen National and had raced the 2006 Motocross des Nations at Matterley Basin, Gt Britain, would you have raced Stefan Everts for the win? or backed it down for the team victory, as James Stewart claimed?Wink
