I love it when people quote the longest post in the thread. Even more when browsing on a phone.

I`m not sure it`s decided yet. I could be wrong.

its not , after testing the 350 and 450 , Herlings makes a decision .... first he needs the time to heal up and get fit
probably stays in MX2 for another year , as the last 2 years didnt go like planned and with 21 he is still young

Team Red Bull Suzuki , So ktm and suzuki sponsored by red bull.

dean ferris? not on the list.

frossard has long recovery ahead of him, i doubt he will be ready for 2016.
They also sponsor the ICE One Husky team as well.

So why does a 'not bring money team' take Charlier instead of Waters?

I know a few "not bring money teams" where second or third riders bring a lot of money with them.

You're right.

I sure hope though he decides to ride the big bike.

Jeffrey Herlings, 21 years old, 2 time MX2 world champion, possibly staying in MX2 next season- Disgrace, sandbagger, Ridiculous

Jeremy Martin, 22 years old, 2 time AMA 250 motocross champion, definitely staying on a 250 next season- Absolutely fine, no problem at all

Now that's ridiculous. Herlings has had an absolutely horrible year this year, and is coming off a horrific injury. IF he stays in the 250 class then I don't think anyone should blame him in the slightest

I'm a little confused by the Townley to Suzuki thing, After the MXoN he was asked by several journalists if his performance means he might make a comeback, and he basically acted like they were stupid for even asking that and there was no chance of it happening. Now he's signed up for a full season?

I will honestly say i dont know.. i am surprised that Waters got the flick , but dont know the story behind it , and as far as i know Charlier isnt a pay rider. i Know that Watson knew a while back that he wasnt retained , due to KTM cutting back, but then he ends up on Factory KTM anyway in the WEC..

Like last year MXGP is going to be stacked, and there are going to be more UK riders doing rounds this year, if press releases are to be believed.

Shame that Waters and Ferris look like they are out though, both of them are more than capeable of hitting the podium.

Jeremy Martin

Year Turned Pro: 2012

2014 & 2015 250 MX National Champion

Our 250 championship is a fully fledged championship. We don’t have age restrictions forcing riders to move up. He also has never won titles by 150 points or swept a series winning every single moto by huge margins.

Hint: Not a cherry picker, he has had to fight for it.

Jeffrey Herlings

Year Turned Pro: 2010

2010: (2 GP wins, 6 podiums)
2011: 2nd place World Championship MX2 (5 GP wins, 11 podiums)
2012 World Champion MX2 (9 GP wins, 13 podiums)
2013 World Champion MX2 (15 GP wins, 15 podiums) – Swept Series winning every GP
2014 2nd place World Championship MX2 (12 GP wins, 12 podiums) – Sweeping series until injury
2015 multiple wins before injury

MX2 is an age restricted support series as specified by Youthstream/FIM as a feeder series funneling riders to MX1. MX2 was a win two championships and be forced to move up series until they rescinded the rule 100% for him/KTM to stay in the class. So in short he has been hugely favored to win the MX2 title for the past five years, a support class, in which most if not all of his main competitors each year are forced or choose to move up to the premier MX1 class.

Hint: Cherry Picker

He also does not have to contend with a Supercross series.

See the difference?

I would be one of his biggest fans if he would stop it and just move up to MX1. Until then he is a cherry picker and I ignore him.

If anyone should be blamed it is the powers at be that put the MX2 age restrictions in place. Herlings cannot help that his competition is moved out (not that anyone who aged out was good enough to beat him anyway), if he's a good 250 rider, he enjoys riding it and is allowed to, why should he have to move up? The rule that was changed, needed to be changed. You can't be forcing 18 year olds, which Herlings was at the time, onto a 450.

How anyone can think anyone can 'cherry pick' at world championship level is beyond me

I'm not the biggest fan of Herlings bit remember, this is Vital. A big part of the americans here dislike Herlings a lot, for some reason. I think that Herlings should have moved up to a 450 1 year ago but after the horrific injuries and last 2 seasons i can accept that he does one more year in mx2. And did you even watch the races this year? He wasn't dominating at all.

There are plenty of people sitting on their couch, eating their donuts and chips and making comments, but it is usually people who have achieved nothing in life how are so busy with other peoples lives.

is Geoff talking abouth himself?

Joke

I don't know that blog but I would guess like 99% of the others he thinks he is a real journalist copy & pasting articles from Google searches to his >100 followers.

Notice how he ignored comments about MX2 being a support class? Even though Youthstream/FIM have stated it 100 times.
