What everyone is forgetting is how Marquez let Lorenzo go without a fight but when Rossi caught him the fight was on. Marquez needs to have a little respect for the title chase. If he is going to fight for the win he should have fought just as hard with Lorenzo. Race direction should look at what Rossi did not do. Rossi could have drove straight into Marquez fron tire and taking him out hard and dirty. I hope Marquez realizes that he will not win a championship again as long as Rossi is racing. Like they say you do not need freinds to win a championship but you can not make enemies.

Anyway this ruined what has been a great championship.

What I saw in the video above, was VR took him a bit wide, maybe a bit of brake checking. I also watched as MM turned it in, stood it up when he realized Rossi was done playing games, and MM then turns it back into Rossi, when he had plenty of opportunity to stay clear from any contact.

The kid fucked with Papa bear, and got his ass bit. No matter what the outcome of the championship, Rossi will leave a much greater legacy from his career than Marquez can ever hope to.

My mate just said that the 'penalty points' taken were from Rossi's licence not his championship points.. I didn't know they did that.. it's better, but still to have to maybe finish second from the back is a tall order

correct, but once you get 3 points the penalty is last place on the grid for the next race, Rossi already had one penalty point

Marquez is a very entertaining fellow to watch race a scooter. It's going to be epic watching Vale46 blow threw the back markers at the start of the next round. He really should have just worried about beating Jorge but you know shit happens! Best racing we have seen in years.

Haha I'm just fucking with you man, it's all good, we for sure have different opinions on what is dirty/warranted contact. On one hand I think that the penalty handed out to Rossi is too harsh ( I felt the same about the 22 black flag), on the other hand I don't think it is a good idea for riders to be handing out their own justice without consequence (these sports are dangerous enough as it is). It is also pretty messed up that MM93 is trying to mess with the championship (IMO) when he probably has the speed to check out at some of these races.
lol fair enough

I haven't read all the thread but I just found it really interesting that Chad Reed and Rossi are good buddies....maybe he taught him that move he used on Marquez. Looked very similar to the move Reed used on Canard....I guess it's the "I can't get around this guy for good, I'll just crash him instead."

lol, gotta love moto drama

He didnt crash him and what he did on any other racing series would t be considered anything. He had the line and ran him wide. Done, end of story, period. Im a fan of several motogp riders. Definitely not marquez any longer for sure.

Rossi is still the greatest MotoGP racer in history despite the ruling, which seems unwarranted from the snippet.

Dudes can't race anymore? Ha anytime there's contact everyone freaks out. MM is a bitch and Rossi is the man. Mess with a dude who's fighting for a championship what do you expect?? Let's JL by literally just let him by but blocked Rossi all race. Bullshit.

Please tell MM there is video footage now days and its clear he drove his bike purposely into VR .

Not like what he says " “At Turn 14 he passed me on the inside, I sat the bike up, he kept going straight ahead and I saw him looking at me. I didn’t know what to do. Then he kicked out at me, knocking my brake lever, and I crashed. I will leave the sanction in the hands of Race Direction. All I know is that I scored zero points and ended up in the gravel, but thankfully I'm fine. "

Continue down the road of disgrace MM !

Exactly spot on! I was going to mention too that MM got stood up and then turned it back into VR. That is not exactly normal racecraft. You couple that with the fact the MM ran into him....well, I don't understand how they could penalize VR.

That doesn't even take into fact all the other shenanigans leading up to this.

It's a damn shame that the season comes down to this and ruins what would've been an epic final round (still could be I suppose but not likely). Hopefully the whole rest of the field pulls a "Let Brock bye" at the start (along with someone to take out MM) so Jorge and Vale can slug it out for the championship as it should be. Wink

i was going for Rossi to win the championship but after last weekend with what he said then did , i hope he never wins another race . rossi was a live god on a gp bike yet he resorts to this shit all respect of him as a racer was just destroyed in that stupid take out

Anybody that thinks Marquez would want to help Lorenzo even a little bit is crazy. They're enemies while Rossi is Marc's childhood hero!!!!

Maybe Vale knows this and expected Marc to move over?

I'm a Rossi fan and always have disliked Marquez.

But I'm catalan like Marc and anyone that thinks that there is an spanish plot against Rossi is plain wrong. Here either you are a Lorenzo fan or Marc's. Its kind of a Biaggi/Rossi from back in the day. No good relationship at all!

Rossi is letting the pressure get to him, plain and simple. Sush a shame to end a career like this...

Finally someone that gets it, if you've ever been to Spain, you know that the country is divided between the 2 Spaniards. .

I work with Spain daily. Actually I`m doing it right now. I know exactly what`s going on there. Another weak argument by assuming others know shit.

OK, then I understand even less why you think there is a spanish plot. Every Marquez fan (and I'm sure that Marc too) wanted Rossi to win this, at least until yesterday.

I don't think it's a act of helping Lorenzo.

But i do think he did it to hurt rossi, that it helped Lorenzo a lot was just a coincident, maybe because of what was said pre-race.
We all know how much of a Diva those top-guns can be like.

Exactly. Marquez was pissed at what Rossi said, and Rossi got a reaction from him, which is what you would get from most riders that age. I really don't think that Marquez had any desire whatsoever to help Lorenzo out in this championship. Rossi brought this on himself

I have no idea why Lorenzo was at Race directors office yelling his lungs out when they were reviewing the incident. He was not involved. What a bullshit.

Because Rossi should have been DQ'd, thats why, same thing happened to JL in 2005.

Working with Spain and being there are 2 different things, stop acting like you know what your talking about.

You're obviously a huge fan of VR, which is fine so am I, but you let that cloud your judgement...

rossi robbed himself this time, no matter what the issue was. you just can not get distracted by anything if you want that title, especially if there were only 2 races left. what a pity, would have loved to see him getting that 10th title.
