Very cool. Febvre was on a total cruise mode and still fast. Thanks for sharing.

Its funny, i remember reading a post here just after the GP of Qatar, saying something like "whats up with RV, he even got passed by a guy named Romain!! WTF"

No one was counting on Febvre to have any chance in winning the World Championchip, it was all about RV and TC222.

And now here he is, the man to beat in 2016 - good job Romain, you took us all by suprise. He will be hard to beat in 2016.

Yes he is. I would pay some money to watch that race live.

So how many of the GP guys hang out around Cali in the off-season? Seems like a fair amount do.

I think Febvre has the upper hand no matter where they race outdoors.
But we will see in a few days.

In a few weeks in Bercy Webb will get his redemption though. We don't really know how good Febvre is in Supercross (he's talented enough) but I don't believe he's anywhere near Webb.

The French do an amazing job at developing junior riders in all aspects of riding. I'm gonna say he will be more than capable on a Supercross track.

I'd love to see Febvre and ET3 go at it, perfect match up in my eyes.
Febvre reminds me a lot of him both in style and domination when his feeling on point Smile

Febvre has said in a french magazine that he doesn't have much interest for supercross so far. He will do atleast 1 or 2 more years in europe for sure before thinking of going anywhere else, but said that if he went to the states it'd be for motocross only, but I am sure that if he does end up in the states he'll do both series.

I only spot one or two here and there. Desalle has for a few weeks one or two years, and Tommy Searle came over one year after he went back to the GPs. Antonio Cairoli came over for a few weeks a couple years ago and shot some stuff with Spy. Thomas Covington does, but that's a gimme since he lives in Murrieta.

I guess I don't see how you could come to the US and not do SX, considering that that is where there's the most money to be made

Ah, well that makes sense. I remember hearing reports of Desalle riding at GH last winter (late in the day, of course), which lead me to believe that a couple riders do come over every year.

We can hope. I can only imagine what AC222 or JH84 could do there.

I think you're right, but I'm not too sure about writing Febvre off in any race anymore with the way he has constantly surprised this season

true that and I wouldn't be surprised to see him do very good.
But he's concentrated on Motocross, he doesn't race Supercross 5 months a year like Webb in the others.
We will see how he does

No he said the opposite, it's that part of the itw that you mean? From LBU?

"Ride in US full-time is expected?

No, not at all. I still signed for at least one year with Yamaha. Maybe even two. Motocross is less important to the United States while me motocross it's my thing. If I come to it would be for the Supercross. We'll see later. We are not yet in this topic for now."

Febvre had an amazing season but I think Desalle, Nagl, Villopoto, Cairoli and a healthy Paulin with all their shit together are just as fast, or even faster, so he had a little luck with all cards playing out to his advantage during 2015.
It won't come that easy in 2016.

It won't come that easy for sure but if he rides the way he did this second part of the season I'm pretty sure he will repeat the title.
He started the season slow (well slow relative to his standards now) because he was injured in the Off season and on a new bike, new class etc.

But Nagl on the new Husky, Desalle, Cairoli, Paulin. It will be good!

He isnt a dark horse any more, he has everyone bar Cairoli covered, i expect him to beat Webb in Japan , because i think he has a little in reserve , but not much, and i dont expect him to win in Lille, or be close , but if he has a good off season, and comes in fit, i expect to see him hit the ground running and pick up where he left off in 2015.
