Like the 2017 crf450?
Yeah, the 17 crf450!!.. Can't wait to test one of those myself.
Hopefully electric start!

All I want in the new Honda for 2017 is somewhere around 57hp, maybe loose another two or three lbs, just to keep KTM from winning the weight war. And perhaps less complicated suspension... that's better than the 15.
If Honda achieves those two or three changes and keeps every other trait of the current model it will be a hard bike to beat.
I could care less about E-start, but if it is push button start, I at least hope there's a kickstarter too..

Webb will want some redemption for sure, frustration must be an understatement,he's going to be fired up in view of the amount of times Febvre blew by him, that's going to be the match up to see

"Blew by him" ? If I remember correctly Webb was able to keep him in sight which isn't bad considering he's technically a 250 class guy

I doubt they will change the suspension back to spring forks....so you might be out of luck there

I like the air forks on my 14 model (after FC revalved them), the shock too.. they're quite good. But the PSF on the 15 and 16 model are crazy.. I hear they're really good too after a revalve, but I don't want high speed rebound on the forks and a crazy array of clickers on the shock...too complicated for me. I also think the bike is a little too narrow at the pegs and lower frame..

Do you realize world championship was on the line for Gajser at GH? Plus he rode that track first time. I'm not sure whether he will ride 250 or 450 in Japan, but he will be up there.

What I'm trying to say is that 450 world championship and 450 outdoors are both looking really fast, but the 250 world championship (exception made of JH) are not looking as fast than the lites. I can't see Anstie or Gajser on their 250 battling with Barcia or Van Horebeek on their 450 like Musquin and Martin did at MXON. And Guillod was nowhere near the front on the 450, when Webb was battling with Febvre.

I'm european and I like both championship and what I'm trying to say is m'y conclusion of the USGP/MXON results.

anstie was well on the pace till his bike packed in and he got landed on! was only a few tenths off martins time in practice and also running 3rd right behind them in the mx2 quali race (before he had the mechanical )

will be interesting to see a few of the top riders racing over there (from both sides of the pond) hopefully we will be able to watch the full races somewhere?

Man factory CRF 250 is seriously underpowered against KTM and Yamaha 250s. That's the reason why Gajser will maybe run MXGP in 2016. If you could only see his speed on 450 in A finals at MXON...unfortunately team Slovenia had some bad luck.

As far as Guillod goes, he wasn't physically 100% for this race, let alone 450.

I don't think anyone would have expected the current 250 guys to hang with Martin Musquin and Webb.
Maybe Anstie on a good day but for everyone else it's a race for the remaining positions IMO.
Herlings and Ferrandis might have been another story, same for Tonus

With Anstie and Jonass out there was really not much MX2 talent left at the mxdn.
Watch out for Seewer next year tho!

they've gained a lot this year haven't they? (the Honda 250f)- would have liked to see how anstie would have done at the nations without the terrible luck, and like you say- gaisjer would have been up there if he had 2 team mates good enough to help him to the 'A' final!!

herlings - definitely! ferrandis? hmm, not sure! anstie has been a lot faster than him for most of this season!

I was there and I did see him ride. Tim was really fast, maybe top 5 speed, but not as fast as C. Webb, M. Musquin and J. Martin...

ferrandis did only 6 races this season , with better results ... Ferrandis was second in championship before he retired with 205 and Anstie had 123 points at 10
so i think its fair to say Ferrandis was faster , even with the 0 scores of Anstie

I'm still taking Canard for the win, Webb is improving all the time, but Canard's still got him on a 450. It will be a good battle between the 3 though no doubt.

canards still got him on a 450? not so sure about that- webb was quicker than Barcia at the nations...

I think cooper will be right up at the sharp end when he goes 450, he's done more than enough to prove himself on the 450 already!!

would love to see trey have a good injury free season though. We all know he will be a contender if he can keep it on 2 wheels...

if I was going to bet money on this race, it would be on febvre! how can you bet against the guy? he's been on fire all year! just keeps getting better and better
10/15/2015 6:59am
Martin, on a 450. He's gonna be fast.

you would think so, but good 250 rider doesn't always = good 450 rider!

until they actually race one, its still a bit of an unknown. I think both martin, marvin and webb are all next level, top tier riders. They should all excel on 450s!!

really excited to see marvin in the big class!!

not sure where you take that from. Anstie wasn't good in the early season before Ferrandis and Herlings went out.
Ferrandis beat him in 9/12 motos he contested.

Anstie just has so many bad days. Like I said on a good day he can run with anyone and I'm not sure if Ferrandis would have the upper hand then

I had a 14 and 15 had them sorted by Race Tech and thought they were amazing, yes it does take some brains to adjust them correctly for each track, but they are damn good forks

Martin on 450 in sx won't be pretty. Outdoors he will be fast. Coop though will be up front in both his rookie year on 450.
