Took kids ice skating and while trying to avoid a kid in front of me, I fell and it folded my right leg up and off to the side, I felt a double pop...one small and one bigger
My foot/lower leg went numb almost right away and about a bit after that I felt like I was going to pass out.
Swelling so far as been less than I thought it would be, but there is a dull ache behind my knee (back of leg/knee) and a sharp pain to the lower right area (outer knee side) of my knee cap when I walk (limp) and/or turn/twist

Like where it says Tibial Collateral Ligament, especially where it attaches to the tibia at the bottom

Get it looked at, hope you feel better.
ER will just wrap it, give me dope and crutches and tell me to see my doc or orthopedist
Be a waste of time, for both me and the ER
I have tons of percs for my back, so no problem

According to a study in the journal Arthritis and Rheumatism, for every pound of weight you lose there is a four pound reduction in the load placed on the knee with each step. Four pounds! Over the course of a day think how much that adds up to. For instance, just a one pound weight loss would mean 4,800 pounds less strain on your knees for every mile you walk. Lose two pounds and it’s 9,600 less pounds per mile.
