What an up and down year for Barcia. You have to say he was at one of his lowest points this SX season. Really struggling. Beginning of MX he didn't light it up either then the rain came at Budds Creek and it's been nothing but great rides since then. Really happy for him.


The sport needs someone like Barcia!

I really really hope he continues this upward swing into the supercross season.

He's one of my favorite, he's super passionate but is a really good dude. I'm always a sucker for the guy's that hang out with the kids and he will sit in the back of his pickup during testing and just get down with the kids… then when he see's them on the track he'll do a few laps with them. What a great thing to watch!
He sure is passionate and knowing he's a good dude makes me more comfortable next time watching him Wink

Had to resurrect this thing from page 5 to mention Barcia on the podium with his hand over his heart (Martin too) during the French national anthem. Is there such a thing as too much respect?

Is this during the French anthem or the Star Spangled Banner? They play all the podium finisher anthems don't they? I ask because the French team looks pretty at ease if it is their anthem being played and our guys look really focused!

They only played the French anthem for the winning team.

Just re watched the end of my recording and damned if our guys aren't standing at attention showing respect and class during the French anthem. Well played gentlemen! I see it as a serious sign of respect for this event by our guys and a sign that they want that top step really really bad!
