Seems odd that a recent 250SX champion can't find ride. Goes to show the 250SX title is not worth much in terms of a riders future in the sport.

Reed just said that nothing was signed and that he hopes it happens in time for MEC. Maybe MCR just offered up a bike just for that race if the Monster Yamaha deal can't fall into place in time.

I hear you and I hope so. I wasn't suggesting that Bogle was going to sign with them. I was suggesting he might ride one of their bikes for the MEC since the Yamaha/Monster deal with Reed might not be inked in time (Reed's words on Pulpmx show) and he might want to just ride that one race. I admitted it was totally my speculation.

You're clearly more plugged in than me: I am just a fan and old slow guy that tries to win practice but fails. Still, I wouldn't fault Bogle for grabbing a free ride for a single race. There aren't a lot of seats out there so it's not crazy to think that he'd have to look at all opportunities.

Trust me, though: I would be sick to my stomach if he had to take such a ride. Check my posting history if you'd like verification of that. But a man's gotta ride, and aside from the surreal mushroom trip that is Tony and sometimes Genova, they've got the hardware and cash to get the job done. If it was the last seat when the music stopped, you'd be nuts not to think about it at the very least. I could imagine having to stomach a year before contracts end. It's not crazy compared to the alternative. It's made Friese look good - who could have said that 3 years ago?
