I'm not shocked that they can do it–It's hectic as fuck and a complete lack of common sense, but that happens all the time in moto–I'm more shocked they would build an obstacle like that to be done on a race track... If someone shorts that, holy shit balls...

Landing on dirt is one thing, framing logs? Not good!

Believe me when I say, it was beyond shocking they could do it! I was there last night racing the trials class and trying to qualify for open am, and had you asked me after my qualifiers if that was possible I would have told you absolutely not. Taylor Robert hit it first, then Brown hit it muliple times after him, Colton tried it once as you can see but I think he got a little bit of wheel spin so things got sketchy. Watching those guys hit that so smoothly lap after lap was easily the most incredible thing I have ever seen on a motorcycle, you seriously had to ride the track to even begin to understand how rediculous that really was. Interestingly enough though, Webb was still fastest without having to make the leap, so it wasn't really the advantage it seemed. Here's a picture of Brown hitting it in practice, kind of gives you an idea of how big that really is, not to mention the landing was steap and sandy!

That was the first time he did it during qualifying. I have a better angle that I took of it on my Facebook page, I'm not sure if the link will work but I'll try. Brown had it dialed in practice, it was very early 90s Supercross, not real far but it took some balls to launch off a 2 foot high log onto a 10 foot pile of logs. https://www.facebook.com/randyschaffner/videos/10153265348676025/?pnref…
