Sounds like you've covered all of your bases by not riding until the Doc clears you. I got a couple of questions though. When you buy a helmet, do you immediately drop it for good luck? Or break the visor off?

Ride on bro.

Maybe you were the inspiration for this thread.

Do what Georgie Porgie says or you're gonna kill yourself. And don't ever ride in Georgia.

That's a list, man. I'm not clicking the pictures because I ate like...6 hours ago. Is the hardware in your knees permanent? I've got a bunch in my left knee that I'm considering having removed because they occasionally hurt like hell. My ortho says it may help, or it may not. The pain is definitely not in the joint itself. And I tore my meniscus, mcl, and pcl. My acl didn't tear, surprisingly.

...and motoxracer611... Ride within your limits, dude. But not in Florida. I'm kidding...and gross pics, man

Yes knee hardware is permanent bone has grown over the screws and grafts my knee was broken into 3 pieces raceing SX when i was 16 , also torn my right meniscus twice and MCL . lower leg plates can come out and been thinking of it as it gives me hell when snowboarding . the rest has to stay

i started riding at 9 racing at 11 I'm 46 now only retired from racing 5 years ago , would i do it all again hell yes . i have had a ball

motoXracer971 yes i know exactly how that guy feels believe me :-}}

best thing for you young guys , train hard stay super fit and as flexible as possible it will limit your injuries and get you back on the bike faster , most of all enjoy what you do

Some fuck head crossed over on me off a jump and crashed me out, concussion, dislocated knee,broke sternum and collapsed lungs, induced coma for a month and rehab in rehab center for a month before getting out of hospital.

I broke my sternum too right at the very top a full clean break and DAYUM that shit hurts! Takes forever to heal and is excruciatingly painful the entire time especially getting in and out of bed. I literally had to develop a new method of getting in and out of bed…. Carefully VERY carefully.

Go to track. Pay $25 to ride on a safe closed course. (Don't go anywhere I go though. Stay away from Ohio in the summer and Florida in the winter)

With some minor precautions, and using your brain slightly......you can avoid the shit you're posting! Wtf is wrong with you? You do have a death wish.
Oh hell yea! A big X2 on that one. Sometimes when you're young you can't see the signs. And these are BIG ones.
